This is a great value for what you receive. Each kit has the preprinted fabric, plenty of thread organized very nicely on a card, and two needles! There’s one medium/large hoop included as well and it’s a plastic one with ridges inside the rings so that it really locks the fabric in place. It’s my first time ever embroidering and this is making it enjoyable. The back of the color/stitch guide paper also has pictures and step by step instructions (poorly translated) for each kind of stitch- which was perfect for me as a total beginner. The translation is poor, but there’s lots of helpful info on the guides and the pictures are good enough to figure it out on your own. The thread is a nice quality (better than other kits I’ve bought for cross stitching) and the fabric is thick. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great first time embroidery project! The pattern and instructions are easy to follow. I did you tube the contour stitch because I like to see how to do it. It worked up quickly doing it for an hour or two in the evenings..finished in 2 months. Starting the second one! Enjoyable winter project for gifts! Add a frame and have a gorgues personalized gift!

Nice quality materials. The embroidery thread is brightly colored and the print is easy to see. I was especially impressed that it came with instructions describing step-by-step details on how to make each type of stitch. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.

Found it on sale!! Very good price I saw it other place not on sale I am just got back into embroidery so good starter kit and black Frabic one looks cool..

I only have one that I have yet to complete. They’re just as beautiful as they are in the pictures. Nice variety of stitches and I didn’t find it to be too difficult or challenging at all. Directions are easy to follow.

Ok for a beginner. Best advice: Don't worry about making yours look exactly like the photos. Just enjoy it and make it your own. The floss is not super great but I went ahead and made it work ok. The main problem is when I went to wash the finished product - which I'd spent weeks working on - I saw that it had stains on the fabric! The colors ran. I used no detergent or soap, just very gently rinsed it in water and laid it to dry overnight. In the morning when I went to check on it - ugh. I soaked it in OxiClean for several hours, which got out most of the stains, but one stubborn - and very noticeable stain remained. I tried everything: alcohol, peroxide, stain remover, baking soda, bleach… I got it to fade some and just when I was about to give up, I tried a bit of nail polish remover and it’s now about 90% gone. Took a lot time and patience - and is still not perfect. That was very upsetting and disappointing to say the least. All in all, just don’t wash it! The designs are pretty, though directions and photos could be a bit better. Maybe it would be a different story if you pre-washed the floss but who wants to do that? I would have given it a higher rating if they would warn you that the floss is not color-fast.

EXCELLENT QUALITY. WAS A GIFT FOR AN 83 YEAR OLD AND SHE LOVES THEM.

Lovely selection of embroidery designs. Some not printed exactly matching the paper instructions but easy to work round. 4 stars rather than 5 because of this and the fact that the print on the fabric comes off with handling over time. I noticed this happening just in time to use a disappearing pen to draw the design back in.

Beginners so I hope she can do it without much trouble it's a Christmas gift for a special person
