Lattafa Mayar Natural Intense Eau de Parfum Spray for Women, 3.4 Ounce

LaTaffa Mayar Natural Intense is a fresh perfume with a prevalent green note. The green note to my nose is more matcha - think a vanilla matcha with slight note of jasmine at the base. I think the scent is original, not a dupe of anything specific.It is complex, with an amazing subtle note of melon, light tangerine, and something that I would describe as bitter almond. It’s not a flat sweet floral with green notes by no means. There is a lot going on, and the perfume notes are well-balanced. I was pleasantly surprised at the price point. It’s reminiscent of Armani Aqua di Goia Intense. Unlike the Armani original, which gently unfolds the notes, the LaTaffa has a harsh green note in the opening, which fades after 5 minutes on the skin or clothing. After the initial harsh green note dissipates - it’s a beautiful scent that lasts about 4 hours. It may last longer for others - I live an active lifestyle in a hot climate, so I am definitely putting the perfume to the test. Projection and sillage on my skin is moderate. Factor in hot humid climate of Southern US, to be fair. Mayar Natural Intense is a fresh spring /summer gem. It keeps me feeling refreshed and put together all day, with a re spray at 4 hour mark. If you aren’t ready to invest in Aqua do Gioia Intense yet, this is a great perfume to see how you feel about the general scent profile. The bottle is well-designed and looks expensive. Comes packaged in a Tiffany-blue tin. This is an affordable way to test out a green floral for the hot season.

What a beautiful perfume! I love this. At first spray, it smells aquatic, semi-fruity, and very green. I don’t know what green fig smells like, so I can’t speak to that, but the fragrance smells vegetal and fruity at the same time. I imagine the rinds of several watermelons and the zest from a green pepper, along with actual watermelon, honeydew, warm water, and green fruity notes that are nondescript to me. It’s fresh, but the green scent is a bit overwhelming. However, after about ten minutes on the skin (maybe fifteen), it blossoms into the most beautiful scent. The lotus and waterlily are prominent, along with a strong and warm vanilla musk. It’s sweet, strong, and airy— like heated white sugar and vanilla filling the air. After the dry down, Mayar Natural Intense smells like a clean pond with fragrant flowers floating on it, and warm vanilla-sugar. It’s refreshing, but not cold, and fresh, but very sweet. Projection is strong for about an hour with this and so far I get a good 6 hours on my skin. It hasn’t been too warm outside since I got this, so I haven’t been able to see how it perfumes in sunny or 70+ degree weather yet. Based on the scent alone I think I’m going to wear it often in the summer!

So I always let my Middle Eastern fragrances get sprayed and then put away in a dark drawer to mature but this is incredible right out of the box! I am so happy. It's not like anything I have smelled before. It's so fresh and perfect for summer. I love Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana but it doesn't last on me. This is different but more interesting and very clean. I bought Jungle Vibes by Rahaan hoping for a spa scent as everyone says but it is WAY too sweet for a green fragrance. This is perfect! It's definitely unlike anything I have smelled before. I have a huge range of scents I like and I collect perfume, but this is so perfect to carry and spray for the hot humid NYC weather. Wondering how it will mature. Very much a summer scent.

This is absolutely my favorite day scent. I get why some people wouldn’t like it, but if you like fruity floral soft scent this is for you. It is strong, and when it dries down it gets sweeter for the vanilla. In the opening is very fruity and floral, then it will dry down floral and sweet. Longevity is great 8-10 hours, it does gave me compliments and for me it didn’t smell grandma but it’s not gourmand it’s very elegant but at the same time fruity and VERY versatile . For work, afternoon dates and even elegant date nights. I LOVE THIS, it also smell very clean, superior, but at the same time very acuatic. I don’t think this if for the hottest days, more like for windy summer days cause it’s very fruity. This is the first bottle of perfume I finish and I have several perfume bottles. It’s like you are in your mid twenties and you do not need to follow tendencies because you are clean, superior, elegant and you smell like a girl boss that doesn’t need to scream to be seen.

Dry down is cheap smelling. The dry down is the old lady smell people are talking about. It starts out promising, but 10 min later a whole different smell. It's also liken it to cheap room fragrance. I did not get aquatic. Have ambroxen. This is my last lataffa purchase. I tried mussaman as well. That one got better in a few days, but I still don't like it. It has the same dry down effect on the skin. Disappointed.

This was a blind buy for me. I purchased it based on reviews. It smells mildly sweet on first spray and settles into a soft herbal scent like water or dew on green grass... Or maybe a white lily. The musk scent on the dry down is nice. Not overpowering. This fragrance could be worn by men or women. It's fresh...I would imagine the person wearing this to be athletic or maybe a snow mountain climber that likes to take in a big breath of fresh air when they reach the peak. This fragrance has a clean green dewy fresh air scent. I gave it a 3 because I prefer warmer glowing scents but wanted something on the days I don't feel or want to smell sweet. Also gave it 3 for projection and sillage. It quickly sits close to the skin so I would likely have to spray my clothes or layer this with something. I'm satisfied with the purchase and will wear the fragrance.

I am an older woman whose fragrance hay-day was way back in the 80s and 90s. Back in the days before everyone became phobic about scents in the workplace and the artificial fixers many used began giving many people migraines. Back then I leaned toward Givenchy fragrances after my love for Shishido's Zen had faded. (I still have my bottles safely kept from those long-ago years!) Enter into my world Amarige and its flankers. To this day, I still love and get compliments when I spritz Amarige, what most now think of as my signature perfume. All this as background to my note preferences as I am an original hippie: I like woods, patchouli, and green mixed with intoxicating white florals way deep in the background. I'm not a sweet fragrance gal. And, when it comes to perfumes, you study and take time to know what works on your skin and personality and what doesn't. So, I admit when watching reviews how most now consider my preferences Old Lady Smelling, well it broke my heart! That cannot possibly true of all the fragrances now labeled: VINTAGE. So, I can only wonder if it's more about the individual's age and fragrance journey maturity? I'm so surprised, returning to the fragrance world by a few things: 1) The crazy prices! Not high prices as they used to be back in my days of purchasing, but absolutely stupid pricing! Why do we have so many perfumers pricing their goods out of the average person's ability to enjoy? For prestige? Ego? Exclusivity? Marketing Stupidity? Who knows, but on the plus side, has given rise to another perfume industry- Quality Dupe perfumers! 2) What's with everyone wishing to smell like FOOD?! Sure, some food smells are delicious and can add to a fragrance, things like brown sugar, cinnamon, etc, but I'm sorry, I just don't care to smell like cherry cola or cake! Along with that, the amount of SWEET in fragrances today? Way too headache producing and cloying to my noise. (I understand to each his or her own, but FOOD, really?) 3)The ridiculous number of fragrances that seem to dry down to powder, especially problematic if one doesn't wish to smell like a powderpuff! Powder smells old to me and fusty! 4) The incredible amount of perfumes released in any year is staggering! This leads to overspending, a chaos of choice, and to my mind, can impede one's fragrance journey which should be highly curated and exacting. If one does this, all those who truly know you, will smell a fragrance and say, "Oh, this really reminds me of (Fill in your name here,)!" You should be searching for the fragrance(s) that always leave Your Mark in the most delicious of ways. So, reviews have led me to the house of Lattafa for new fragrance to consider. If my Givenchy scents are now too vintage, I think I'll try a few of these because of their commitment to high end ingredients, good noses that blend them, and at a price that is more than reasonable. Mayar is absolutely a winner for me. Perhaps because it is considered a unisex fragrance, but still leaning feminine, it's absolutely what I want for our humid, high summer temps. It's that smell of clean which uplifts and lands with some flower, spice, and a lot of citrus for balance and freshness. This one is a big hit for this old girl! I hope this is one you will also enjoy. Good for daytime and casual evenings. When you need to feel the sea and fresh breezes it brings, put on Mayar and feel the joy of the ocean nearby. Smells amazing. Such a summer vibe 🌞 most definitely worth your money, its giving AcQua di Giogia I love it. I wear lattafa eclaire on a daily basis. This is amazing for a change.
