Small and does the job
I find this knee brace to be just what I needed! It is small but does an incredible job keeping support on my patella. I was given a much larger brace by my doctor, but I didn’t feel it held the patella as good as this one. It’s small, compact, easy to adjust and comfortable. I bought XL as my knee was 17” and it fit fine.

Great brace for preventing kneecap dislocation!!!
My 16 year old daughter dislocated her kneecap. After healing and PT, she was able to play high level softball again. This brace is perfect…it has a harder C shaped support to hold the knee cap in place from moving out, the velcro straps are very solid and hold well, and the brace is small enough to be worn under her softball pants without noticing its there. She does wear a thin CopperFit sleeve under the brace to avoid any rubbing. She can do anything on the field now…including sprinting, sliding, and pitching. This is by far the best brace of the many we tried. 5 stars and would buy again if we wear this one out.

I measured my knee in order to medium but I needed an extra large!
I had a fabric tape measure. Anyways so I wrap it around the top of my knee cap under my knee and back to the top and it said that my knee was 14 inches around and I had my knee extended. I ordered the medium based on the sizing chart. I put it on and it was cutting into my skin on the top and the bottom! Not only was it way too tight oddly enough it wasn't tight enough around my kneecap! That was the loose area I showed it to my physical therapist and he was like let me measure you. He did it a little differently then I did and said I'm actually 16 in around. He did make note that the piece you strap over the knee to push the patella over slightly to the left was not pushing the kneecap. Either I have extremely small kneecaps or this is too round to be efficient for actually gripping and pushing it over. So be careful in measuring and I weigh 165 lb and 5 ft 3 and it did not do anything but rest the side my kneecap when I put it as tight as it would go. I recommend getting another brand than this one unless you have meaty thighs and bigger kneecaps I mean I don't know. I hope this helps.

Seems to work fine for me!! Be ware of size chart though.
My patella doesn't want to stay in it's groove, so my physical therapist Recommended I tried this Type of brace with a C. pad in it.. Using the sizing chart, I ordered A large, and wore it for several days. It seemed very constricting and tight on my knee. I decided The sizing chart Was off a little bit And I sent it back Ordered an extra large Which arrived promptly. The extra large slip up my leg And And saddles My Patella. After wearing it for a little more than a week now My only complaint Is that The velcro Seems to slip and loosen up When I am doing regular chores around my property. It doesn't do well if you're kneeling Or flexing Your legs A lot. Please pardon all these capital letters Coma coma I'm dictating this into my Kindle. I thought the looseness would rub the inside of my knee A little raw But it hasn't happened yet. Even when the velcro Starts to loosen, my knee cap Is still held in place. Yes the straps are supposed to cross in the back. There is a loop that they go through. The directions clearly Make that evident. Those reviewers Who discovered this as a possible solution Didn't read the directions in the very beginning. In the photographs the 1st shot Shows how it fits When I attach the velcro And start wearing it. The second photo Shows it working loose After I've worn it for A couple hours. It needs some attention periodically To maintain adjustment When you're being active and flexing your knee a lot Like exercising at the gym. But overall I'm quite satisfied With it's performance. It sure beats having to tape my kneecap every couple of days..

Doesnt support like you want
Ive used patellar stablizers since 2009. This is not my favorite, but its a thinner design, which I like. Its a neoprene tube with a Y shaped contraption including a bumper and straps attached to the outside of the tube... slide on the tube from either direction if you need right or left support. The bumper cannot be rotated around (towards top/bottom your knee cap (it only serves either left or right side). The velcro straps are nice in theory, but you cant really set it to get more lower or upper pattelar support to patellar tilt like proper KT or adjustable bumpers provide. If you tighten it too much on both or eith strap, you cut off blood flow +/- compress tendons on the back of your knee. No amount of tightening makes it not slide up or down (me, it walks up my thigh about 1/2in really uncomfortable, and 1/2in too high for a C-shaped bumper to do its job... I returned the medium that should have fit by measuring, but couldnt hardly get up to my athletic knee. The L is the right size, the design isnt right for me. I find, after 2 weeks of trying, I'm constantly fiddling with it, as it slips down, or the straps inch past the back neoprene band and cut into the back of your lower leg, or the neoprene rides up or down and the rigid staps to the bumper go in the opposite direction. I tried crosing the velcro, to fix on the opposite strap, which lasted longer for comfort but same overall effect. Deceiving... each morning I think....now Ive figured it out... for about 15min... then fiddle all day trying to get it right. Im on the hunt for a different one.

Deserves 5++ stars!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Product Review: BraceAbility Patella Tracking Knee Brace After trying multiple knee braces for my teenage son following a painful knee dislocation, we finally found the one that actually works—the BraceAbility Patella Tracking Knee Brace. This brace has been a complete game-changer in his recovery and day-to-day comfort. Exceptional Comfort with No Irritation One of the biggest struggles we've faced with other braces was skin irritation and discomfort. This brace stands out immediately with its soft, breathable material that molds comfortably to the leg without causing any red marks, pinching, or pressure spots—even after full-day wear. My son wears it during school and activities, and there are zero complaints about discomfort or itchiness. It doesn’t ride up, dig in, or bunch at the back of the knee, which has been a recurring issue with previous braces. Stays Secure All Day Long What really sets this brace apart is its secure fit. We’ve dealt with braces that slide down constantly or need constant adjusting—not this one. Whether my son is walking around campus, sitting in class, or up and down stairs, this brace stays put. It supports his kneecap exactly where it needs to be without restricting movement or causing stiffness. Proven Effectiveness After Multiple Failures We’ve invested in multiple knee braces over the past year—some much more expensive—but none delivered the relief or support he needed for his unstable patella. This BraceAbility model is the only one that provides true patellar tracking support without being bulky or overcomplicated. His physical therapist even commented on how well it’s stabilizing his kneecap.it helps tremendously with his pain and it’s very easy to put on and take off.

Size is wrong
Great quality product, but the sizing is inaccurate. My therapist measured me at 13", but the medium is far too tight and cuts off circulation. Size up to a large.

THE fix for patellar tracking disorder
After dealing with patellar tracking issues on and off for 10+ years, I finally discovered this brace that lets me continue exercising without aggravating the condition. Continuing to exercise through a patellar tracking flare-up is essential, because maintaining strong muscles is a must for stabilizing the knee. Yet exercising can be tricky because, without properly supporting the knee, the impact and stress of exercise can make the knee feel worse. I've tried at least two other types of knee brace, and they were better than nothing but didn't do much. This brace is the only thing I've found that is designed such that it effectively addresses a loose kneecap. It does this by way of a thick, hard pad that gently pushes the kneecap into proper alignment and holds it there. I don't think this brace would help much with anything other than patellar tracking. It doesn't provide much compression. I don't have arthritis so can't say for sure, but I doubt this brace would help with that, and I think it's underrated here because people tried it for arthritis and it didn't help. A couple of tips for using this brace for patellar tracking problems: - Wear the brace as much as possible, but definitely while exercising. It will make all the difference in range of motion, impact tolerance, and in how strenuously you can exercise. When you're not exercising, it still works well to support your daily activities and gradually train the kneecap to stay where it belongs. - Do NOT overtighten the brace. Intuitively, I wanted to wear the brace extra tight, thinking this would result in faster recovery from my flare-up. But overtightening it made things worse, causing pain on the outside of the kneecap, where I'd never had it before. In my experience, the brace works best when it is tightened just short of the point of actual tension. The straps should feel slightly loose. This seems like it wouldn't work, but it does. I love this thing and am tempted to buy more of them just in case it gets taken off the market.

Super Produkt
