yummy, perfect amount of sweet. cute jar, nice packaging
this green tea/matcha spread was quite yummy. i would say the taste isn’t super, super strong but it’s perfect. it tastes like matcha and powdered milk, which i really liked. my husband and i like eating it with pretzel goldfish snacks. the glass jar it comes in is cute so i’m keeping it lol. i would say it is on the expensive side for how much you get. but if you have the money for it, i think it’s worth it! would buy again

Really good!
I ended up bringing this to a family dinner after gifting to a friend who told me it was good. We took the matcha spread and put on croissants and then filled with strawberries and whipping cream (similar to what people do with Nutella desserts). Good combination! The matcha flavor is smooth, flavorful, not too sweet. Pairs well with croissants and berries! Don’t forget to refrigerate. Since I don’t speak Korean, I couldn’t read the label and didn’t know it needed to be in the fridge. I took out for a couple hours before serving so it spread easily.

Gross & not like the authentic spread from korea
Let me start off by saying, I love this green tea spread. Every time I go to korea, I always bring a couple jars home. However, I decided to try ordering on Amazon and I would not recommend it at all. When I opened it, it looked nothing like the spread I was used to, it was dark, slimy, lumpy and congealed. I can’t even return this. Do not buy from Amazon.

Good taste but a little too sweet.
I personally like the matcha taste, great for dipping, spreading with bread or fillings for snacks. But it’s a little too sweet for my liking. But overall is great.

A little too sweet, but definitely delicious
The first time I tried this I was gifted a jar, and I enjoyed it so much I purchased one for myself! I had tried a matcha green tea spread previously from a different brand but I prefer this green tea milk spread much more. Perhaps it is the milk addition that adds a creamy depth to the matcha that I like so much. The spread is slightly too sweet for my taste, but I can adjust to my liking by adding less spread to whatever I'm eating. It tastes great with fresh strawberry slices on toast but I really enjoyed eating it with cream cheese between two slices of wheat bread like a PB&J. I guess in this case it would be GTMS&CC, and it's a delicious mouthful to say.

Matcha Spread
The OSULLOC Green Tea Milk Spread is a high-density condiment formulated with matcha sourced from Jeju Island. While the ingredient quality is evident in the vibrant color and aromatic profile, the texture and flavor balance are aggressively weighted toward sweetness. The spread has a thick, creamy consistency that is technically well-executed, yet it fails to achieve a sophisticated flavor equilibrium due to the clashing intensity of the added sugars and the inherent bitterness of the green tea. For regular matcha consumers, the flavor profile may prove disappointing as the sugar content masks the more delicate, umami notes of the tea. The resulting taste is an acquired one, characterized by an initial sugar spike followed by a sharp, bitter aftertaste that feels disjointed rather than complementary. For those seeking a nuanced tea experience, the excessive sweetness diminishes the product's utility as a gourmet spread. At its current price point, the product offers marginal value for the money unless the consumer specifically prefers highly sweetened, dessert-style matcha profiles.
