Like others, the fan seems to be broken when it arrived. I plugged it in, turned it on, and it made a mechanical clanking noise that sounded very wrong. Discovered that the fan blade is broken on the inside.

Have been running this air filter in my living room for a year and haven't had any problems. I have it attached to a smart plug so I can easily set a schedule to turn it on during the day or control it remotely and that has worked well for me. I've checked with my particle counter that it improves the air quality as expected.

Love this air purifier for our home. It’s a big unit so we have hidden behind sofa. It works very well in keeping the dust down and air clean. We have a log home and this is perfect for the great room area. Only reason I give it a 4.7 is the size of the unit.
