Great product from a trusted and well known brand/manufacturer
Great product from a trusted and well known brand/manufacturerItem works well no issues at all file transfer speeds are good itās extremely compact and small would be great if it came with a key ring or some sort of clip on as the size is so small it could easily be lost or misplaced and also would be great if there was more storage size options available other than that itās a great product and Iām only going to purchase products like this from well know and trusted manufacturers as thereās and reason why they are the other cheaper products offering larger storage capacity just donāt work!

Great Help
I was in desperate need of a USB and this Kingston usb delivers a lot. Gets me through a lot, especially since I do a lot of pc work, files managing and more.I work within the IT sector, Cyber Security so this being in my possession, it is a great help and gets me through a lot. From what I've seen the speed is the fastest among the usb's I've seen. Plus 128gb for just £9, amazing, nice and cheap and it's very much a value of money. It's small obviously so you can take it anywhere and do what you need to do. I have a usb c adapter so I can use that as well if the other slot is taken.Overall, great stuff. Great usb.

Cheap, but very slow write performance
This review is for a Kingston Kyson 64GB USB stick, priced at under £7 delivered.Supplied in a retail packet, it is of a metal construction, although the metal is quite flimsy, unlike some others of a similar design I own. I doubt this would stand up to too much abuse, such as getting crushed in a tight laptop bag.Tested in a Windows 11 PC and a M4 based Mac, no issues were encountered from a compatibility point of view, and it comes preformatted with FAT32, so easily read by either OS without reformatting. After formatting, capacity is approx 57GB, and H2testw proved the capacity is genuine. My only slight disappointment is the write speeds are quite slow, under 20MBytes/s, nowhere near the claimed 60MB/s. Read speeds nearly matched the claimed 200MB/s at 186MB/s.Given the competitive price for a big brand 64GB stick, I think it offers good value, despite the slow write.

Value
Use this often for installing operating systems, and transferring files. Worked very reliably at decent speeds. However does get very hot under use. Great value.

Good price for the size and speed
I've bought 2 of these recently, 1 for general use and 1 to go in my Blink Sync2 Module to provide local usb storage for my blink cameras. As a lot of users have done, I ran a CrystalDiskMark on it. This was only done on 1 out of the 2 I bought and was done twice, after a quick formats with 64KB and 128KB allocation unit sizes. Write-caching is disabled for quick removal by default on my machine. Slightly higher sequential read speeds with the 64KB size, but otherwise, not really much difference. Certainly not enough to affect general everyday use for me.I haven't noticed either getting particularly hot, but being an exposed metal case would help with any heat dissipation needed.Overall, a good sized USB 3.2 Gen 1 with a nice balance between capacity, speed and price. I can certainly see me getting more of these (at various capacities as needed) for myself and family and recommending to friends.

Waste of time and money.
Bought this to use with a smart TV. Previously had a 256gb one, until I forgot it in a BnB, by the time I had got back there, some scummer had pocketed it š but anyway. That one had lasted since.... before anyone had even heard of covid so I thought I'd try another one, same manufacturer, bigger size, Awesome.Or not. Bought this one the 09/10/24, by Christmas 24 was already having issues with it saying 'read only ', with none of the accepted solutions (very available online), or even YouTube and Microsoft not doing anything to help. Right, fine, I need to refresh what's on here so I'll have to get in touch with customer support and get a replacement. Which I did, they assured me it was in the post because it was well within the warranty period, so far, so good. A month later, no sign of it, so I emailed the customer service team, who were 'so sorry, it appears this request wasn't forwarded on to the right department, we'll get another one right out to you' this one arrived at the start of Feb, and it's just started saying the same thing š again, nothing showing up on virus scan, the diskpart suggestion does bugger-all to help and even regedit does diddly squat.Ordered a SanDisk one earlier, more expensive but hopefully more reliable.
