Great little vacuum sealer
Wanted a simple at home vacuum sealer for household use. Nothing fancy and nothing overpriced. After researching for a few days, I purchased this to help with meal prep for the family. The whole process from putting the meat into the bags and vacuuming/sealing each bag took about 40 minutes the first time I trued it. The vacuum sealing process itself took roughly about 20 minutes to seal 12 packs of chicken breast. Once you close the lid, you press the vac/seal button; it goes through the process of sucking the air out, and then heat sealing it closed. Afterwards there is a few seconds of cool down wherein you will have to wait before you can press the vac/seal button again. I use this time to place the new pack between the lid and flatten out my chicken packs that are already sealed for better storage. Then I go back to press the vac/seal bottom after it stops blinking for the new pack. This Is my first vacuum sealer, so I do not have anything else to compare it with. However it does sound pretty loud. Not blender loud, but definitely louder than my juicer. Still it is a great purchase that makes meal prep for the weeks ahead so much smoother. Its light, easy to use and has performed well in the 5x Iโve used it. (I meal prep for 2-3 wks at a time). Highly recommended.

good value
This device comes in handy for storage of food items for long periods. Easy to follow instructions, works great. I use the "vac & seal" method. Price was affordable for what I use it for.

Such a deal!
Turns out you don't have to pay a lot for a food sealer! This baby works great, I'm just sorry I waited so long to get one.

Exactly what I wanted
Been wanting one of these for a while and finally pulled the trigger. I have only used it for sealing bags so I can't speak on the vacuum function but it works perfectly for what I wanted it for! Great deal and fits well on my counter without taking up too much space. Super easy to use.

Started out great, but...
Bought this in April and I haven't really used it that much. Now, when I use it with the large Bonsenkitchen bags, the top right corner of the bag doesn't seal. I buy 5 pound bags of coffee and I wanted to keep what I wasn't using fresh. I have an airtight container that holds about two pounds of coffee at a time. The first time I used this to seal what I wasn't using it worked fine. I recently sealed two different bags with coffee in them only to have them go soft the next day like they were in standard storage bags. This was after I had sealed the bag and then flipped it over to seal it again since the top right corner doesn't seal anymore. The only way I can get a good seal now is to press down on the cover while it's sealing. I guess that's what you get for $25.
