We ordered this last minute as the plucking machine we rented would not turn on. This was our first time to ever process our own chickens so we didn’t know what to expect. I will say it definitely helped speed up the whole process. If you’re working smaller scale this will be sufficient. Even larger scale it will work just obviously won’t be as fast as the machine. Shipping was as expected with no delays which is very important to us when ordering from a company and in this case as we needed it the day before we ordered it lol Overall durable and lightweight, beginner friendly, easy to clean. Don’t let the small size fool you either.

Honestly performed much better than I thought it would! No it doesn't clean every feather off, you need a good drill, and it takes a little getting used to, the feathers go everywhere. But for processing 5-10 chickens, it's worth it. It cut our defeathering down to about 5-10 minutes. Great price and easy enough to use.

I was skeptical did 12 full size hens with this and it works great. leaves a mess and you have some feathers to still pull by hand, but this makes the process much faster and easier just know what you're getting into and plan accordingly for the cleanup ect..

Don't waste your money on this, it did not work and it was much faster to just pluck the chicken on my own after dipping it in hot water

Works good as a basic defeather tool, fairly hard to not get sprayed with feathers if used a few times. Definitely better than all hand picking of feathers.
