read reviews and was apprehensive about it leaking . but once fitted it has worked as it should great replacement hose for Aqualisa shower

Replacement hose for existing shower
Easy to fit and looks like new

Very good quality. But I needed an extra washer.
This is a fitting from Aqualisa to replace the original part for my shower head which has been discontinued. Don't give up screwing the hose on to the shower head end - the fitting has to go inside it partly which I did not realise at first, and so it was not a tight fit and leaked. Having solved that, I found the hose end fitting the wall outlet was too deep compared with the screw exposed in the wall outlet, and so it did not screw tightly on, and therefore leaked. I complained to Aqualisa, and they sent me some extra washers. It was fine after that with the extra washer. I hope the new hose lasts as long as the old one - 28 years! It seems identically good quality.

It's not like the original
The hose works but its not like the original hose. It also seemed to be missing a rubber seal. It leaked when I connected it first. I had to get a seal. When I fitted this it stopped leaking.
