A necessary part of training and completing my first marathon. I used one of these every 3 miles for any run longer than 12 miles and I think it’s a huge part of the reason why I was able to complete my first marathon in less than 4 hours. I also use these when backpacking, they helped me to summit mt Whitney. They’re light and sugary, I would highly recommend washing them down with water while running and not eating them on a fully empty stomach, definitely have some before race day . Based on my research at the time of my marathon in October 2025 these were the best quality for price in regards to quantity of gels and amount of calories and caffeine per pack. These were delicious flavors as well, having the variety is good for your mentality and keeps you interested. The salty caramel was pretty heavy taste wise

If you’re looking for a quick energy fix that’s as delicious as it is effective, the Honey Stinger Energy Gel Variety Pack is a fantastic choice—especially if you’re a fan of honey. The flavors are great, with “Gold” being pure honey goodness, and the “Fruit Smoothie” flavor (which includes strawberry kiwi) being pretty darn tasty. There’s another flavor in the pack, but I can’t quite remember which it was—either way, they’ve all been solid! I’ve tried several different energy gels, but I keep coming back to Honey Stinger because they’re just that good. They go down smooth, provide a reliable energy boost, and, most importantly, they’ve never upset my stomach—even after long rides of five or six hours or more. The only minor downside is that they can be a bit sticky if you get them on your hands (oops, lol), but that’s a small price to pay for how well they work. If you’re in need of a tasty, stomach-friendly energy gel, Honey Stinger is hard to beat. Highly recommend!

Love this stuff!! I have one before every workout for a quick bit of energy that doesn't give you the itchy skin feeling or keep you up for hours after, it's just perfect and tastes good!

Exactly what I needed running my first half marathon this year. I spent some time researching not only effectiveness but products that are more natural and healthy. These packs seem to check all my boxes. Little gel packs are very easy to open, do not make any mess and are delicious. However keep in mind that they will make you thirsty, the gel is very thick and a bit sticky in the mouth. So be ready to drink water after consuming a pack. They were quite effective and gave me the energy I needed. They were on the privy side but definitely worth it.

I’ve been using these for my rides and they have work great! Taste good as well.
