OtterBox Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Defender Series Case - Black

Case is awesome but I feel like an idiot. I have had Defender cases for multiple Galaxy phones in the past and knew they separated into pieces to apply to the phone but when the case for my S24 Ultra arrived, it appeared to be all one unit. I tried to push my phone in and it was impossible so I returned it for a replacement, thinking my case was defective. When the replacement had the same problem, I realized I was doing something wrong and (moment of clarity) googled how to put the phone into the case. The system was the same as in the past, only better, and it fit perfectly. I hope I didn't stress my phone too much while trying to jam it into the case without taking the pieces apart and applying them properly. When I had issues with my first attempt, I tore open the box and looked for instructions on the inside but didn't see any. (If they were there, I missed them.) I think Otterbox should include a QR code on the box to guide people to a video on how to apply the case to the phone for people like me who are too dense to figure it out despite years of prior experience. I feel bad that I returned my first case and hope this review helps others to avoid the stupid mistake I made. I love this case (I love that it's bulky and can protect the camera lenses and keep them clean) and am so glad I figured it out. So far, my phone seems to have not been affected by the stress I put on it while trying to force it into the case while it was all connected as one unit. Great phone...hoping it lasts a long time.

Great product

My two-year-old belt clip was dropping my phone to the ground multiple times each day. This replacement arrived quickly and just replacing the belt-clip resolved the dropping issue. The case has been protecting my Galaxy S24 Ultra for more than 2 years and it has been dropped accidentally more than 100 times and still works like a champ. I highly recommend this case and the belt clip is great as well, at least until it starts dropping the phone; then replace it.

I literally do not use my phone without this. I'm SO clumsy and this has saved my phone WAY more times than I can count. Easy to remove and assemble, extremely sturdy, and looks nice. I don't use the back piece, though

This is a item that i can keep buying but i hope that the last one i bought was a one time mess up because it broke to fast and if this one brakes i will have to part ways.

Otterbox has been known for making quality cases, and this was no different. I bought this twice. The first one lasted two years of dropping, going in and out of my pocket while protecting my phone. So I knew what I was buying to replace the broken one. Great Job, I will look up Otterbox for my future phone protection needs.

I mean its a big bulky case. You may not want to use this case outside of work or travel. The s24 ultra is already a big phone. When you put the defender on it it becomes a brick lol. I much prefer the Otterbox Symmetry series for a daily driver. Much more sleek design with great protection. However, I have still cracked screens at work using the Symmetry series so I figured Id go a step up. I feel confident in my choice as a work/travel case. But I went ahead and also ordered a Symmetry case for casual use. I refuse to buy any other brand case. Maybe Otterbox is overpriced. Maybe other cheaper brands have as good or better protection. But I believe in Cost/Performance. The more expensive something is, 9 times out of 10 its a better product. Unless its an apple product.. 9 times out of 10 cost doesnt not equate performance with Apple.. I dont just buy Otterbox because their expensive though. I buy them because of their confidence in their products to charge a higher price. And over the years I have been very impressed with their products and think they are worth the price. I did have to return the 1st Defender I got for my s24 ultra though. For some reasoning the hard plastic inner shell would "creak and crackle" as I handled the phone. Like the plastic wasnt machined to be a tight fit. The replacement I got does not have this issue. So thats a win!

Fit perfect cheaper than t mobile

Otterbox cover is sturdy and protects your mobile from falls. The problem is with the people supplying it, they dispatch USED COVERS randomly. I was one such unlucky buyer, received a used cover after paying nearly 12K. If you are lucky enough you get a new unused piece.

Say what you want but this is the best phone cover in the world.

Absolutely brilliant full protection all round,not the cheapest but the best in my opinion specially how expensive phones are now.

I have brand loyalty to OtterBox for a reason. This is my third or fourth phone with an OtterBox case and my last phone I had for 5 years (S9+) is in pristine condition after 5 years of abuse with an OtterBox case on. I always prefer the cases that are a combination of a hard case surrounded with a soft case so I opted for the Defender Series. The inner, harder case is 2 parts that sandwiches the phone perfectly. The outer case is easy to fit but durable. I enjoy the forest ranger green color and the holster works exceptionally well as a stand. As a bonus the case fixes an issue I had where the volume button on the S24 Ultra was one elongated button. This case splits it into 2 separate buttons for a more familiar operation. All ports are accessible and the S pen is easily to retrieve.

The Otterbox brand should, by now, need no introduction, but for those who have not been introduced, let me present: ☆☆☆The Otterbox☆☆☆ The original and Ultimate Cell Phone Protection that no other brand has ever exceeded the otterly standards of in protection against all potential risks posed from rugged scenarios and circumstances. My cellphone has never experienced a broken screen, or any dage what so ever, while encased in any Otterbox brand case. It's the only brand I buy, and I will cknsider nothing less, because there is nothing better than Otterbox.
