Good but not cheap.
Itโs good and it does the job, but it is expensive. Youโll also need the double-barrelled gun tho. I donโt know how youโd be able to use the stuff otherwise. ๐ค. Thatโs another ยฃ20 or so! It is a very impressive bit of machinery tho, very substantial, well designed & well made. It isnโt going to break/wear out! ๐๐ Nut itโs ยฃ20. ๐ข. For a pro builder/repairer, thatโs ok, but for the diner, itโs quite a charge. The resin does what it says on the tin and it does it well. You still have to mix it tho after itโs extruded from the tubes. Itโs not smelly, itโs not difficult to mix, but it is firm. Plastic spatulas work well for this, but it _really_ does stick & not only to wood: take care not to get it on clothes etc.! Itโs pricy stuff, this resin. On my window frames, where the wood had rotted away, I filled most of the holes foam then added the resin as a surface. Thereโs no structural weight/strain on the corners where the damage was, so I think this was acceptable. It saved a lot of resin. Good stuff, but pricey.

Very high compression PSI filler, got what I paid the big bucks for
Bought 1x 400ml tube, and a gun unbranded. Aim to fill a section of a 7.5m long 245 year old oak beam, that is c20*25cm dimensions, see photo. Fill had to go right into the underside of where all the compression weight sits on point above concrete pad stone. A large multi storey house above, solid walls. Smell is low compared to Bondafil or usual two part fillers, and also highest possible PSI rating here not cosmetic filler rubbish. Was one other 14000 PSI option (but seemed too strong)... white oak is c8000 PSI and this was a match. Above was done in 10mins overall, it's quite deep in corner saying 40mm but photo cannot show that.. I had previously removed rotten wood, applied three coats of Sika 5-1 wood treatment over two days, and then two coats of wood hardener. This fix is to last another 245 years so money not the topic here. I'll be doing very minor sanding next day as almost near perfect finish, but need to create some irregularities now for look on top. 2mm layer, and then add some darker stain or likely wire brush area toerge back but added the photo you see here as might help people. As demo video I watched shows have some wet wipes, I used three plastic fillers I cut to size. Did above while on a ladder.

Hard stuff. Hard on your wallet too.
Too expensive. Pros: Very sticky and will bond extremely well Easy to work with, very soft when applying Very hard when set Smells like hazelnut for some reason Cons: Very sticky and will bond extremely well (don't get it where you don't want it) Easy to work with, very soft when applying (it's easy to get blooming everywhere) Very hard when set (When it gets everywhere, it's a pain in the arse to remove; and it will get everywhere) Smells like hazelnut for some reason (If you don't like the smell of hazelnuts) It IS FAR too expensive for an epoxy filler.

An excellent product for wet and dry rot repairs
A messy product to use but worth the hassle. You get the tubes which need to be mixed in the right proportion. This required the unique double gun. This then pipes out, for you to mix and use. The consistency of the resultant paste is very thick and with a scraper or similar you will get to the shape you need. This then takes 4 hours to go off (at 6cm depth or so) but I would leave it a further day. Sand, prime and paint. The epoxy is a very very good alternative to wood fillers and saved our front window. This window was considerably rotten through and this epoxy was the finish to the masonry / frame that was and has saved me hundreds overall. The volume BTW is fair, I used two of these for my project on a deep fill and had some remaining. I would use again with no hesitation, but it will ruin any tool you use with it so factor that into the cost.

Superb for deep repairs to wood
I found this product after watching a video of an epoxy filler on This Old House, then looking for the nearest equivalent in the UK. I first used it to repair a complex joint in a sliding door sill, one that would have taken a lot of carpentry to repair with wood. Two years later, and that repair is still living up to expectations, the EHB60 having enormous bond strength, together with a little elasticity, so it moves with the wood. It is very expensive, but for those jobs where you need something as strong as the original material, but don't have the time, or the tools, or the access to cut out the wood and scarf in a new piece, EHB60 is brilliant.

high quality filler
This was an excellent solution for my sash window repairs. You get what you pay for - the applicator gun is high quality, and the filler mixes easily and unlike a lot of other fillers, remains workable for a decent length of time. It sets rock hard. I wish I had known about this product a long time ago - and saved time and money.

Don't bother with the starter kit- it's not worth the money
I purchased the starter kit and was disappointed to find that in such a large box, there was so little thought gone into the accessories. You get 2 x eh6, the primer, a gun, two pairs of cheap gloves, two sizes of filler knives, and a glazing silicone. What you don't get- any containers to mix the primers separately (which you need to do), any 'throwaway brushes' (their description) to mix the primer, no tray to mix the filler. To me, adding the filler knives over the containers and trays is a bit of an oversight. I had high hopes and was disappointed.

Resin fix
Saw a similar product being used a couple years ago on an American YouTube video and knew it's what I needed to fix the lower extremity of my garage door timber frame. Finally pulled the trigger and I must say, although a tad expensive, this is the real deal. I have yet to sand and paint but it's clearly a superb product and has restored the damage caused by damp and rot. Highly recommended.
