Gold Yellow Perch is My Most Productive Color
The Rapala Jigging Rap has proven to be a real fish catcher throughout the year, while vertical jigging from my kayak on Lake Erie. The rear plastic fins give it a spiraling climb and fall when you jerk the rod. It's solid lead makeup and streamlined body get it down to the bottom very quickly. From there, I pop the rod a few feet for a fast spiral climb, then let it fall back to hit the bottom. The fish almost always hit it on the fall. Very rarely do I let it sit still. The only downside I have found is the paint will chip if you are beating it around rock piles and rubble. Additionally, chrome and Gold Yellow Perch are always productive colors for me.

Big lure for big fish
Got a size 9 because I caught a 21" pickerel with a 7" bluegill in its stomach and I decided I needed a bigger lure.

Awesome little lure.
This lure was a lot smaller than I thought but it is the perfect size for panfish or trout. It’s very heavy for the size but works great. Would definitely recommend and buy again.P.S. I’m not sure if you can see in the photo, but I broke the point of the treble hook. That’s my fault because I got it stuck on my clothing.

Awesome jigging lure
Does very well when vertical jigging. You can cast it as well. I have caught some nice saugeye and crappie on this lure.

Go to lure
Deadly on walleye with treble tipped with some bait. I have caught some beautiful trout on this size as well on numerous occasions while out for walleye. The smallest size tipped with a meal worm is also phenomenal for trout and panfish.The action of the lure is outstanding and it catches fish. Get a few and you won't be disappointed.A word of caution: I have lost this particular lure due to my snap swivel being pulled open during a fight with a large walleye. Consider tying (very securely) terminally.

Quality manufacturing
Rapala really makes excellent products and the extra cost seems merited if you consider aesthetics and quality. Do they catch more fish than the cheaper lookalikes? Who can say?

Caught walley on the jig.
It was awesome. My husband took it out the first ice fishing. Caught walleye on the jig. Over our size limit, had to throw it back. But still worked like a charm.
