I looked and researched air purifiers for a couple weeks after our old one quit performing. I kept coming back to this Shark and bit the bullet and paid the $300 for it. After the first day of running it, I had zero regrets! It works perfectly! We have it in our living room which is off of our kitchen and we keep it on AUTO. When we’re cooking, the Shark will drop from 100 where our air was clean, the fan will kick up a notch or two, depending on how low the numbers went, and it really will clean the cooking orders out! We have allergies and this has helped a lot! We own a home that is over 100yrs old and I used to go around the house dusting all the time and I notice there’s barely any dust on my furniture. I also notice if I spray Febreze air freshener or fabric refresher that the Shark senses it and will kick on and suck my air freshener out. lol I love Scentsy and their wax melts so when I use the one that is closest to the Shark I will just turn the air purifier off for a while because it will sense it and drop to yellow or even red and kick the fans on and clean the nice smell right out of the living room where I have that one sitting. Not complaining, but sometimes I like to smell my Scentsy! Also, there’s different speeds that the fan will run on and even on the highest speed it’s not loud at all. My house has never smelled so clean. We have two 70lb boxers and it has helped tremendously with having pets. When I’m gone for hours and come home, I notice that I don’t smell any signs of owning a dog when I walk into the house and my husband said the same thing when he came home from work the first night we owned it. There’s a light up ring around the numbers on the front that will be green when it’s clean, turn yellow when it’s getting bad and turn red when it’s really bad. We leave ours on AUTO so we don’t have to do anything, the Shark does the air cleaning for us. The never change filter is huge plus! Those filters can be so expensive so it’s nice that we don’t have that expense a couple times a year! The only thing that I’d say would be a “con”, if you want to call it that, and we honestly don’t even care about it, is that air freshener thing on top of the machine. We have never smelled anything come from that and I doubt we will buy new replacement neutralizer cartridges for it. I don’t see the point of it. I don’t see, or smell rather, where it does anything. I hope I covered everything and my review helped you make a decision on your purchase. I’m just an ordinary person with pets and an older home that PAID $300 for this machine and did not receive it for free to write a review like others do with stuff. My review is just our honest opinion that I wanted to share because we like it so much. It works GREAT! Better than any air purifier that we have owned in 30yrs. If you’re looking to buy a new air purifier for your home, I highly recommend this Shark! We sat the empty box in the office and thought we would hold on to it for the 30 days that we have to return something to Amazon just in case we didn’t like it but we threw it away the first week we used it.

Very satisfied with my Shark Air Purifier for Home, NeverChange Max purchase. There’s a lot of dust in the house and I had the ductwork cleaned so that it would help get rid of some of the dust problem. And then purchased this to take care of any other dust that would possibly not have been eliminated through duct cleaning and through dust that comes in the house from windows. I noticed that there is definitely less dust on furniture and hard floors, which is what I was hoping for. There was always a thick amount of dust because the system is older and hadn’t been cleaned. My HVAC person recommend this brand because he was very satisfied with it. Definitely does a good job and it helps with any kind of odors from cooking too. I like that it has a timer and different fan settings too. And it shows air quality on the screen. It’s easy to move around from room to room if I need to. Easy clean the side screens and I like that I don’t have to buy filters to replace the one that comes with it, which can be expensive.

Perfect for bdrm . I also own the other Shark whole home purifier . These devices are fantastic for ppl using Bipac / Cpac have allergies Heart Failure Copd an Asthma . Main filter last 5 yrs . The 2 side filters simply pull out wipe off reinstall. Amazing walk pass w lite cigarette watch the air purifier range drop instantly! They are quiet help provide better sleep definitely recommended!

Powerful for the size, easy to find a spot to place it. and love how quiet so can run through the night while we sleep. We have definitely seen a difference within our home with allergy, relief and freshness of the airSimple to use and cleaning of filters. They do have different sizes and colors to choose from depending on the space you need it in shark is a go to for product. Bonus is the design is very pleasing in appearance.

This Shark air purifier has made a noticeable difference in my home. The air feels fresher, and it helps a lot with dust and everyday odors. I really like the NeverChange filter design because it saves money and hassle in the long run—no constant filter replacements to worry about. This product works great. For small living rooms it does the job perfect. Easy to clean and looks great also. Side filters are easily cleaned and main filter is easy to remove to clean or replace. I have one cat and it does wonders catching cat dander and hair.

The auto function is great for certain pollutants. Blow dryer pollution and kitchen use triggers the detection. I don’t think dust particles are triggering it so I leave it on max whenever we leave. I like the fresh scent it gives off and it’s very quiet on the lowest setting. The various fan settings are pretty useful especially the quiet mode.

A must for anyone who has allergies in my personal opinion. My primary spaces: Kitchen, living room, and dining room area are purified with the bigger model and it works pretty hard giving dust/pollen/etc. I bought the smaller model for my primary bedroom which also extends to a closet and bathroom. It showed 84% air quality which really caught me off guard. After 24 hours it changed to 100% and I feel the difference in my nose and lungs. A must for anyone! I would say it can be a little loud at night if you set it for anything between 2 to 5. Now it's set for 1 and you barely hear it.

Esta muy bien, es pequeño, creo debí comprar uno más grande para todo el departamento, la habitación es de 12m2 y le queda justo, demora un poco en poner valores del 100% de aire limpio, a veces no llega, pero quedan valores superiores al 80% el panel electrónico te muestra el % de aire purificado, el No de partículas pm1.0 (alérgenos), pm2.5 (contaminación), 2.10 (polen) y los colores rojo amarillo y azul (como en Japón supongo), también indica la vida útil remanente del filtro, viene con un repuesto, y un aromatizante. Lo pongo normalmente por las noches para evitar los espasmos por asma y me ayuda a dormir bien, la medicina me hace mejor. Debí comprar el grande, este sufre bastante para purificar una habitación pequeña, por eso los valores salen en rojo, después de un rato se pone en amarillo y finalmente azul. - No reduce niveles de ozono como yo creía, el ozono es un gas y pasa libremente por el purificador, se requiere que el filtro tenga carbón activado.
