And it’s effective! My skin has never looked better and at 60, I started much later than I should have. But I’ve taken good care of my skin, have made a point of staying out of the sun and have used good sunscreen and moisturizers for almost 40 years, and Tretinoin for about 10, but this serum has definitely made a difference. I decided on Obagi because I use their moisturizer and love it. I do (probably too much) research before making decisions and I read more than a few comments from dermatologists who said that while the vitamin C serums can’t hurt they really don’t/can’t improve the skin. Well, I respectfully disagree, as do thousands of other users from all I’ve read. This serum absolutely changed the appearance of my skin, kicked it up a notch, makes it look brighter and more youthful. **One thing to note - I have semi-sensitive skin and I was over-using he serum in the beginning, even with the recommended drops. It was settling in the lines around my mouth and the corners of my eyes and producing dry patches. A couple drops on my forehead down between my brows, one on each cheek/around nose and use the residue on my fingers to lightly go over the other areas. I use the Obagi Serum in the mornings under moisturizer and makeup, and the Tretinoin at night (after cleansing and allowing my skin to dry for about 20-25 minutes.) Have had no problems since, only a beautifully radiant complexion!

This bottle comparison is faded and appears to be left out in the sun or on the shelf too long. The brighter one is my old bottle. The product inside looks clear and should have a strong gold color. The product doesn't seem as strong either when I put it on. For the price of it I should have a good product. Very disappointed. Replacement was the exact same.

I felt like it made my face drier. However, I have sensitive skin and it didn’t break it out.
