Dell Latitude 5430 (Latest Model) 14" Laptop Intel Core i5-1245U (10-Core) 512GB SSD 16GB RAM FHD (1920x1080) Non Touch Windows 11 Pro (Renewed)

The laptop was great but the charger was in bad shape. Right behind the USB-C port you could see the wires as the rubber had slipped back. And then it wasn't charging unless you held it just right. I contacted customer service though and they gave me a partial refund as a gift card with enough on it to purchase a brand new charger. Overall, I was pleased.

This is a honest and unpaid review. I purchased the Latitude 5430 with the i5-1245u, 16gb ram and 512 hard drive. The computer arrived in excellent condition so I set up and logged into windows. A few minutes later windows defender popped up with threats on the system. Possible virus and malware, so I wiped the system and reinstalled windows 11. Now everything runs great, windows is activated, and the the system is what was advertised. I will note that I do feel that this is a professionally refurbished system, with that being said I did notice that there is a skin on the top which was applied perfect. And the bottom of the computer was re-painted to match the factory color, it looks and feels perfect. The only reason I could tell that it was painted is because the screws and the rubber pads under the computer are painted. There is a Microsoft authorized refurbished sticker on the bottom along with new identification stickers. This even came with the genuine (used) dell charger. I looked up the service tag number and it does match the system. But it shows 256gb hard drive. This one has a 512gb drive so if I were to guess the previous company removed the drive for security reasons. And with that being said the refurbisher likely has a windows image that's used on all new drives for the eaise of setup. This image likely has something wrong with it, which would explain the few reviews that said something about a virus. I'm still giving a 5 star, because the safe way is to always wipe any used pre-owned systems and start fresh, so this was no big deal for me.

The product arrived in such good condition that I thought it was new until I noticed some minor scuffing, especially around the charging port area. I was surprised that the laptop arrived in just the box, without any bubble wrap, but fortunately, it wasn't damaged during shipping. It performs very well and came with the original Dell charger. I recommend it.

Works almost as if brand new! Only thing is the battery goes down faster than I'd like, but it's a refurbished item so I can't complain

This product was advertised as "Refurbished Excellent" and to include a backlit keyboard. Not only does this product not support a backlit keyboard, as indicated by the lack of a backlit keyboard function on key F5), but the battery quality is at 49% of the full design capacity. Full Design Capacity: 58,003 mWh (Advertised "4-Cell 58Whr Battery") Full Charge Capacity: 28,698 mWh (less than 49% of Designed Capacity) Do not buy this laptop, best case scenario you will have to replace the battery to get good function out of an already under-performing laptop.

This Dell 5430 laptop operates well, the 1245u cpu and 16gb ddr4 and 500gb nvme are great for the near $350 price. The problem that made me return it was the "excellent" condition claimed was not great. The laptop is silver in color, but huge light grey stickers are placed on the entire lid and around the trackpad, probably to cover scratches. This is the type of quality I would expect from "acceptable" or below. The 1080p LCD screen may have been replaced as it looked grey instead of black, side by side with an older Dell latitude it's obvious, though still usable. The SSD reported 91% life remaining.

I’ve had this laptop about a week. Happy with everything so far and the laptop is in excellent condition. There is 1 tiny cosmetic ding and everything else looks great! Received a nice charger and the battery life seems to be good too. Very pleased so far!

Recién hoy Junio de 2026 compré esta laptop, cabe aclarar que en el título mencionan el procesador i5-1245U, pero en realidad no es el que llega, sino el i5-1235U, que a pesar de que en especificaciones sean similares no es el que ofrecen directamente en el título. De allí en fuera, la estética es buena, un 9 sin tema, detalles muy pequeños casi imperceptibles, le realice un par de tests manuales y otros como los que vienen en Microsoft Store y la verdad se ve bien en cuanto a rendimiento. El teclado es americano, no tengo ningún tema con eso, solo para que lo consideren. Le doy 4 estrellas solo porque no llega lo que ofrecen en el título, a ver cómo se desempeña los próximos meses.

I was a little skeptical at first but when I got my computer I was blown away how immaculate and pristine it was. Brand new, works great, no complaints whatsoever. Very happy purchase and excellent deal.

La batería tiene 50% de capacidad de carga. Asumiendo que es renewed deberia tener por lo menos 80%., sigo esperando mi reembolso después de varios meses de haberlo regresado

Arrived 2 days early, which was nice. The model I ordered was described as non touch screen - it is, in fact, a touch screen. There were scuffs on the bottom but not lid nor around keyboard. There were small blemishes on the screen that I could not remove with a screen wipe napkin - they are light. Not sure this is “excellent” but rather “good” to even “very good”. The usb c power brick has a frayed cord (see photo) - it works but for something in “excellent” condition a non frayed power brick would have been nice as I mentioned above. The keyboard and track pad and surrounding surfaces look brand new. I will update when I get battery health information and use the laptop further. Overall, for the price and hardware you’re getting, the pleasant surprise of touch screen, it’s a good deal. I don’t really care about the bottom scratches but the power brick cord fraying and the screen blemishes take a star off of this review. Update: battery is designed to support 58kwh but life is down to 40kwh at full charge which is approximately 69% battery life left. Update 2 - it comes with one stick of 16gb ddr4 3200mhz ddr4 which is both good and “bad” in the sense that it leaves a slot open to easily to add to the laptop bad in that the laptop by default is running in single channel memory mode which can affect performance for some tasks significantly.
