not polished good. I would say just scratched, somewhere deep, somewhere light. Generally for this price it is possible to get the best stationery possible.

I have used this ruler pretty much everyday for the past year or so to measure t-shirt designs and level up designs on garments. Simply put it has been fantastic and for the extremely cheap price point it has definitely been worth it. I can simply not recommend this product enough for measuring items, especially t-shirts. It is strong, durable and will not shatter unless you really apply excessive force. Overall it does exactly what it should and is a bargain at that price. One thing I would note is that the edges of the ruler are very very sharp so if you have kids about or pets then you might need to sand the edges or put some tape on. Also Amazon sent the item which isn't too large in a absolutely massive box. I would say you could have fitted at least 10 more rulers in the same box but hey, ho the product was great and well packaged so it's not really any complaint! :)
