I was pleasantly shocked at the quality of this filter for the price. It's crystal-clear, no signs of any optical distortion that I can detect, and the edges are ground and finished immaculately. Also comes in a very nice pouch. I know it's just a clear filter, but the fact that you can get a pristine 4mm hunk of optical glass of these dimensions for less than the cost of a totally average 52mm screw-in protector filter is kind of crazy.

It fits well in my Tilta Mattebox, protects the lens, easy to clean, comes with a nice soft carry case. It's the same quality of material that you'll find in their more expensive line of filters!

This works great with the small rig matte box and makes a perfect clear shield for camera lenses. Thick and most excellent quality. Rub a small bit of Vaseline or olive oil for great soft edge effect. Wash of with warm water and let creativity run wild

This glass is great for protecting your lens from the elements during a shoot also this glass is great for making DIY Filters I might buy more to make more filters I’ve notice some artifacts the glass might produce when the lens is closed down more

This should say in huge bold letters: IT REFLECTS YOUR LENS 100% YOUR LENSE WILL REFLECTION WILL SHOW ON YOUR FOOTAGE AT ALL TIMES DURONG YOUR DAYTIME SHOOTINGS NO MATTER IF YOUR USING MATTE BOX WITH SUN FLAPS. For the price this filter should have at least some anti reflective coating. It’s quite disappointing. I wish I could post screen captures here.
