Works no problem,when my old went out I got this one and it's been better than the old one . Love it . Accurate. Needed handy man to install. Easy to use .easy to read .Looks great on wall .

In my opinion, a great thermostat for the professional. There's nothing weird or oddball about the setup and wiring of these, they have just enough settings that anybody would want to modify, including temperature calibration, compressor protection, temperature swing, etc. And a big beautiful display that's easy for older people to use and still has the Super reliable traditional physical switches that everyone is familiar with. They also have the option of using a C wire to make the batteries unnecessary, but you can also use the batteries for Homestead don't have a common hooked up

Works great and so simple to operate!! I hate the "smart" thermostats!!

This thermostat was simple to install and even easier to program. The display is clear and easy to read, even from across the room. It keeps the temperature consistent and has helped improve energy efficiency in my home. Great value for the price—highly recommended!

This thermostat is supposed to work with either AC or batteries, but my thermostat only works with batteries. My volt meter shows that voltage to my common wire "c" terminal exceeds 24 volts. I've only had this thermostat for a little over two months, but my return window has past, and I can't find any warranty information or a way to contact the seller. Except for this problem, the thermostat works as it should. EDIT: Found I had a faulty wire. Replaced wire and thermostat works fine. Nice large bright screen and easy to use controls.

Got this Aowel 2 Heat/ 1 Cool Non-Programmable Thermostat to replace an inferior unit I had in my house. I was attracted to this unit because of the large high contrast easy to read display BUT that's where it ends. The damn setting switch is way too small to mange easily. Is it on the off or heat position? VERY hard to tell without a magnifying glass. There is a very small text in the display that shows "off" but even that is so small I need a magnifying glass to read it. Going to take time to get used to that switch. At least the temperature display is large enough to read, even without my reading glasses, but NOT ILLUMINATED so the room has to be well lit to be able to read the room and desired temperatures. Also very good at honoring the desired temperature setting. If the room and desired temperatures are at 76 and I change the setting to 75 the furnace shuts down almost immediately, as it should! SPECIAL NOTE: be aware you must use the EMH setting for heat if you have electric central AC and separate central gas heat like I do. EMH = "EMergency Heat" Intended to take over when the heat cycle on your heat pump is not adequate to heat the house, you manually switch over to the EMH (gas heater). In my case, I have no heat pump -- just a standard central cooling air conditioner and central gas heat. Very Happy with performance but I really hate that tiny selector switch. [UPDATE] Been working great since I got it. Those big easy to read digits are not so easy to read unless the room is very well lit -- ther is no backlight, and if there was it would run the batteries down faster so it's a compromise, but at least I don't need a magnifying glass to read the temp setting. Speaking of batteries, I am using rechargeables and only swapped them out once since the installaion so it is not a battery eater.
