Nice functional keyboard for home office use
Let me start by saying I am not a gamer and I didn't buy this for the gaming features. That will become evident as you read on! I had my last Logitech keyboard for 5 years and if it was not for the fading keys and subsequent attempts to put stickers over them which all eventually got icky (technical term) and loose for the 2nd time, I would not have bought another keyboard. After much research the first replacement I bought (another manufacturer) came assembled but not quite because you had to change some keys if you were on Windows. After having confirmed it would come assembled, that unnerved me. Never changed a key and didn't want to break the keyboard from the get go. Had to use a magnifier for the directions. Nice board, nice colors, nice feel but not going to work out. So I returned it. Then I decided on this Royal Kludge RK-S98 keyboard. I hesitated because of too much white in the coloring but I was super happy to unbox it, plug the dongle into my computer, it paired right away and I could start typing immediately. I did have to refer to the instructions which I could read without a magnifier to set the clock and turn off the irritating color lights (I know gamers have to be rolling their eyes now if they kept reading my review this far lol ) but other than that everything is self explanatory. It is "missing" a few keys from my old keyboard like "end" but you do function PgDn key and you are at the end. And the front side of the key even says "End" so if you don't remember, it's right there. By the way, the colors really are beautiful if you want a backlit light show and you can adjust them easily. I found this out while finding out how to turn them off completely. The keys are double shot PBT which is supposed to be very effective preventing the letters and numbers from wearing off. Since that was my biggest issue with the Logitech, it was a very important factor in purchasing this one. The sound is nice. It is clicky but not obnoxious. It's easy and a nice sound and there is a Caps Lock Lit indicator which I have missed sorely since I got my last keyboard. But if you want to turn off those lights too you can. I almost forgot to add that there is a hard plastic clear dust cover. I've never seen that before and I do plan to use it. I wish I understood how to get a gif on the screen instead of the clock since my clock is already on my monitor but maybe someday I will play with it. Overall, I am super happy with this. I'll edit my review if things go south but I'm pretty sure this keyboard is home to stay.

Excellent feeling budget 96% and a solid upgrade over my last
Genuinely the nicest prebuilt 96% at this price range. The keyboard sounds great thanks to the silicone and foam dampening inside, the screen looks great, and the knob feels smooth and nice. The keycaps although not to my visual preference are incredibly nice quality. The keyboard was heavier than I expected for a plastic case, but this is a good thing. doesn't vibrate on my desk at all while I'm typing. this is entirely free from any hollow sound, so I don't feel like I need to tape mod it, but if I did, the keyboard literally comes with a tool to open it up, so it's very mod-friendly. This is a mainstay for my desk. The linear switches are quite creamy with the keycaps that are bundled with it. I have no problem with any kind of input lag or having to double back on myself from ghosting that would otherwise hurt my WPM. The keyboard is incredibly easy to set up too, with a link to the software on the store page, and the ability to just plug it in and go if you don't wanna mess around with that. Has 3 different Bluetooth modes which allow you to connect it to 3 different devices to swap between, has a wired mode, and a wireless dongle, and appears to have a USB A port on the back, presumably a passthrough. I would highly recommend this keyboard.

Great keyboard, great value
It used to be that keyboards this good were only available if you paid hundreds of dollars and waited a year for all the group buy parts to arrive so you could assemble them yourself. Now, for a hundred bucks, you get a really solid keyboard with excellect switches and an LCD screen with a rotary knob. It's a great time to be a keyboard enthusiast. Switches - Very nice, but a little light for my taste since I have big hands and fat fingers. However, since this is a hot-swap PCB, I have some heavier linears on the way and it will be a piece of cake to swap them out. The sound of the stock switches is great, and the included stabilizers haven't produced a lot of rattle but they aren't perfect. The included keycaps are double shot PBT and feel nice and solid. Build - Very solid. The board has almost no flex to it, and while it's not as heavy as something made out of solid aluminum it doesn't feel like any other plastic board I've ever used. It's not crazy heavy, but it does a good job of staying put on my desk mat, even with the feet out to adjust the typing angle to my liking. Battery - Meets my needs. I use this for work, 40 hours a week, and after 3 days of using it I'm only down to 72% battery life. It looks like I'll only have to charge it every other week, but keep in mind that I don't like a lot of RGB unicorn puke all over my keyboard, so I only have it flashing a quick pop of color whenever I press a key. Since the RGB is off unless I'm actually typing, I know that that's heavily contributing to the battery longevity. The more RGB lighting you use and the brighter you make it, the more likely you'll be to have to charge the battery every 2 or 3 days. Screen - Useful enough that I haven't had to plug this into my computer and run the software to customize anything. I can set my RGB, change between Win/Mac, and pair to multiple bluetooth devices all by using the screen and rotary knob. Very useful, especially since I can't install any proprietary software on my work computer. I will say that the included clock is a little fast, usually gaining about 7 seconds a day from what I can tell, so if you're really picky about all of your clocks being accurate you'll need to fix the time once a week or so. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase, and if you're here and looking at this review you should probably buy it.

Well worth the price!
Incredible keyboard. Build quality is great. Keys are very responsive. Personally love the click sound and the light up options. But if you are nervous about making a lot of noise in a quieter office setting, this may not be the keyboard for you. Battery life is great and connection options are plentiful. Price is a little high but honestly well worth it given the quality of the keyboard.

First new keyboard after 7 years
I just want to preface this, i originally was using the razer holiday bundle, i got it about 7 years ago and it was just okay, but i abused the hell out of that thing. I am a music producer and content creator so a keyboard will absolutely get abused by me. So first thoughts so far (i will update this review about a month in if i have any additional thoughts) are that i am shocked at how weighted this keyboard. It feels like QUALITY. My razer feels like CARDBOARD compared to this. Even the keys feel almost.. ceramic in how they sound and feel when typing. Ill be honest I was mesmerized immediately. Its not a jarring sound but if a higher pitch plink sort of sound bugs you, you may want new switches but i love this. The weighted keys make me feel like I can type with better accuracy. I have big shrek hands so it helps that these feel bulkier. The screen is cool. You HAVE TO GO TO THE WEBSITE TO GET THE SOFTWARE it doesnt take much time and its fairly simple to understand! You can change the colors more indepth there vs using the knob. WHAT I DONT LIKE: This is a tiny gripe, but i dislike the time changing function. You will definitely be off a little bit because of holding thr button down to tab back out to accept the changes. Unless im missing something i just didnt enjoy that. However i likely wont use it anyways because lets face it... You can put a gif in the screen and that rocks. All in all, i love my first major upgrade! I only docked a star for the time issue and also because this is day one! Lets see how it fairs in a month :)

Acrylic Nail Girlies: This is the keyboard for you.
If you have long and/or acrylic nails, this is the keyboard for you. The ease of typing is what dreams are made of. I can type on this keyboard as though I'm not wearing nails, it is a GAME CHANGER. And I type 95 words per minute without them... Now I can type 95wpm WITH them. The color is great, I wish it was more purple and less white, but oh well. I love the fact that I can go between three devices with just a scroll of the wheel. The connectivity works really well, although when I'm at my desk I keep it plugged in via cable. It's nice that it has both USB A and USB-C. The brightness is fine -I literally always have the backlight off, but it is fun to show people the color options. Maybe the one knock on the keyboard is that the clock gets off even while plugged into your computer and I still can't figure out how to fix it, but oh well! Buy this. I literally ordered a second colorway for home, so now I have one at home and one at work. Oh, one heads up: this keyboard is LOUD. If you work in a quiet place or noise drives you crazy... It's not the keyboard for you. The good news is that it sounds great. I type really forcefully and thought I was at risk of making my coworkers nuts, but everyone says they don't mind because the thockiness is on point.

Best keyboard Iโve ever used!
I love the way this keyboard looks, feels, and sounds. Like I get a thrill now out of writing a long email. This is a solid choice for any computer setup and the light effects are a nice touch. I especially like how flexible it is with connection options. Just turn the dial to select if you want to connect via USB cable, 2.4 ghz dongle, or multiple saved Bluetooth connections. This means itโs an easy keyboard to pick up and move to another room or device.

Quality keyboard
This is my first keyboard that is wireless and mechanical - I like the keyboard, it is definitely heavy duty (also heavy in size) but nice and compact. The backlit keys are bright and have many effects. I uploaded a custom picture onto the display and it works well. Battery could last longer but for all it does decent value for what you get
