It is always nice to be able to record something. You may wish to record a conversation with someone, a lecture at school or at some other meeting in which you want to memorialize what has been said. You may want to record a radio program or even a computer Zoom meeting where the main area of interest is what is being said rather than what is being shown. In any event this is a portable recorder, which is always nice to have. I was surprised at how small the whole thing is. The main recording unit is about the size of a silver dollar and may be only as thick as two or three silver dollars. It charges up for 1600 hours of sound which is more than you can record on a single charge. Anyway the point is you can store recordings if you want on the unit, as small as it is. You can also transfer the recordings to your computer and manipulate them from there. Transfer them by file to your phone or to another computer, etc. It also auto records, which means it's sensitive to sound and will turn off if it is not hearing anything. You can actually get a longer recording session than you might think because it will skip the quiet parts. You can listen to the recordings on some included earphones, which plug right into the little disk, or you can transfer it to your computer and listen to it on there. With this unit you get everything in a rather compact little bag, which includes: - the unit, which is about the size of a dollar bill - the charging cord - the earphones - two devices that let you plug it into either an older iPhone with a lightning plug or the newer ones with the USB plug (number three, I believe it is) All in all it seems to work pretty well. Two things I did not like about it: 1. The quality of the sound is a little bit muffled and not great. I'm not sure you would want to take this to the New York Philharmonic and record a concert but I don't think you were planning to do that anyway. It certainly is legible and you can understand the words being said, which is really all you need. 2. I wish this had more of an owner's manual. You have some bar code thing that you're supposed to scan. Usually that opens up a manual but in this case it opens up a YouTube video so you have to watch a YouTube video and pause for a commercial now and then too. It's kind of annoying and I just think I would find it easier to have a manual. Still it is nice to see how the file arrangement looks on a Windows computer screen when you do transfer it to a computer so perhaps the YouTube is helpful for that.

I was kind of skeptical of the recorder when I got it. Its small. But it turns out that it has been quite and asset. I typically use my phone to take notes and record things I would forget. Although neither of my vehicles has any steel on the dashboard or console I took a couple of hook and loop squares and the mounting was done. In short, the device is great. I get home an can download the recordings to my PC. Audio Quality: The recordings are clear and crisp with little background noise. Ease of Use: It’s easy to use , even without reading the manual I was able to save several recordings and later listen to them. Drawbacks: Only drawback is the magnet. In todays vehicles there is little or no steel for it to attach to. But a couple of squares of hook and loop and your good to go. Verdict: Overall, user-friendly tool for anyone needing small portable audio recording device.

I purchased 2 of these products because I had a significant need to record some conversations and be able to then transfer them to my computer. The first couple of times, everything worked properly. Then, with no changes on my part, the connection to the computer just stopped. I have tried everything I can imagine, but neither of the two devices I purchased will connect to my computer. Thankfully, I purchased two of another device in case these didn't work and it does work, but it is much more visible and noticeable, which I was trying to avoid. Of course, by the time these stopped working, I was outside the 30 day return window.

Cheaper one on tiktok sounds A LOT better, this product picks up like a white noise while recording while the tiktok version doesn't. I do like how it's easy to use when plugged up to my android. It doesn't record the right date, not sure how to get it to. It also doesn't record the right time. I do like how it's magnetized though.

I bought two of these and so far I think they are great. They are easy to use, they charge quickly and have quite good sound quality with relatively low noise. They have a very faint amount of background noise like that of the high-quality CrO2 cassette tapes of the ‘80’s with Dolby C noise reduction, which is pretty good for such a small, simple device. They are also quite sensitive and pick up noises I wouldn’t have expected. The earphones and control dongle are a nice touch. I like that you don’t have to download your recordings to a computer to play them. But I also appreciate that you can; and the USB adapters are sweet. I haven’t actually connected them to a computer yet, as I have just been skipping through the recordings with the control dongle and that works just fine. The magnets are not real strong but strong enough, and I like how small, flat and discreet they are, with no visible markings or lights while operating.

Product comes packaged very nicely. Instructions are easy and clear to understand. Range of recorder is good. Sound quality is good. Magnet is of good strength. Comes with all the needed accessories and attachments. I’m quite impressed with this recorder.

Sound quality is not very good, gives a disturbing sound along with actual recording, which makes it hard to hear what you recorded.
