We love this set. My 6yo can follow the directions and easily assemble it himself. It's highly versatile because it makes six different vehicles. I ended up get two sets because the 3yo wanted to play with the smaller trucks without taking apart the semi. I've been coming back to this set as birthday presents for other kids in my 6yo's class because it's a good value.
