Very attractive, easy to pour and fairly light without water
This is a very attractive retro kettle. I needed a kettle with a side handle as top handles hurt my hands. This kettle is fairly light without water, and has an easy to grip side handle, which makes it easier to pour. It boils quickly, isn’t particularly noisy, and has an easy temperature gauge which is really useful for coffee. A little leaflet explains what temperature is best for black tea, coffee and herbal teas. Even better, the Black Friday deal was excellent! I’m really pleased with this kettle and would definitely recommend.

Value for money and looks cool !!
It’s good quality.worth the extra money. I love the look of it. It looks better than the pictures. It’s easy to fill, lid goes off and on easy. Seems quieter than my old kettle and boils quicker too. I’m very pleased with my new kettle…also if you register your guarantee on line you get an extra year … 3 years all together… great!!

Mixed review
Mixed feelings about this one. Aesthetically it's pleasing and as the pictures but the functionality leaves a little to be desired. The cut of the jug on mine has rough scratches, the body of the kettle becomes extremely hot to the touch unlike our previous Russell Hobbs kettle, the lime scaler is difficult to remove and I think will break quickly compared to our previous kettle and the lid feels stiff. I like the temperature gage and the water boils quietly and quickly but I worry about how safe this might be with our 4 year old and 1 year old child and wonder how long it will last with the lid and lime scale remover being difficult to remove. Would I buy it again? Time will tell - for the black Friday deal it's not bad enough for me to send back but I do wish it was designed with more thought.
