We have tried too many name brand cameras and have had nothing but frustration. Cameras that would work for a little while and then go offline. We decided to take a chance on these and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the picture and quality of the cameras. Please read the mfg. specifications because these are adjustable for time length of recording and will take a minute to start recording after a 3 minute video. They have sensitivity settings and they are pretty effective,as birds and especially squirrels will drive them nuts. It Also will detect pets and cars as well.night vision is fantastic. This is by no means a commercial grade system but for the money we are very happy with them . Also it is Worth the money for the solar panel attachment. If mounting outside the panels do work and will save you the hassle of getting a ladder and having to charge it as often if ever.

These are the best outdoors solar cameras. My husband and I have purchased of these and we've had then for over a year already and they are still working perfectly! We definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good camers with a great and wide view at an affordable price. I purchased some for my mom as well and she loves them!

PLEASE CHECK UPDATES- DO NOT BUY- WONT LAST MORE THAN 6 MONTHS. YEAR WARRANTY USELESS. Interesting issue with this outdoor camera. When it is a attached to the solar charger there is no way to cover all of the other ports. I contacted the company and this was their response which is pretty stupid for an outdoor camera... For the solar charger port problem, you can install it in a waterproof place, or use some kind of glue to cover the port hole. Ok. We'll see how long this camera lasts. Night time quality is so so. And I would love to be able to go back and view certain times, but I can't. It was easy to set up. **** 11/22/25. UPDATE!!! I recently purchased 2 more of these. And there was an update. UGH!!! What used to be a very simple app that was easy to log onto and check videos is now a HUGE PITA!!! 1. A constant ai chat message of some sort pops up and has to be deleted everytime. 2. Viewing videos is complex. Cloud comes up, which I don't pay for, Instead use sd card. So, I have to switch it to SD card- before, it just came up. 3. Videos dissappear after viewing?!?! I used to be able to keep them and delete or download them. Haven't figured out how to download now. All in all a decent app now gives me less, with more complications. Update- 11/26/25 returned the new cameras. Also, the one purchased in June no longer has working white light at night. Company supposedly gives a year warranty but they are jerking me around telling me to do a bunch of things that aren't helping. So much for lasting past 6 months.

Works great so far. Was easy setting up, solar battery seems to be working. Picture quality is great 👍🏼. I think it's picture quality isbetter than my ring doorbell.

Update 6/6/2024 I wanted to post an update. I was contacted by the seller. We had messaged a few times about my unhappiness with these cameras. They said they’re gonna work on making some changes to make them better but in the meantime since it did not work out for me and I mounted them on my concrete house rather than send them back and then have all kind of work to do to fix the holes they told me just to keep the cameras and then they would refund $100. I told them I would be happy to update my review which is a total honest update. I have changed from one star to now three star because I feel that they made a good faith gesture. Original Review I now have rated a three star because I was refunded some of my out-of-pocket for these cameras and I can use them on live view only and hopefully maybe at some point if they do make changes and it’s software firmware related that I would be able to update and have cameras that would actually work as a security system. The only way I would feel like I haven’t been cheated is if I could rate this so-called security system in negative numbers. Where do I start. First I want to make sure I get this out there. Yes I’m aware that there are number of settings on the camera and I’ve tried them all so if you’re thinking, maybe this guy is an idiot and he doesn’t realize there are sensitivity settings and there are five or six other settings that will affect the triggering of these cameras. Yes, I’ve tried them. I’ve tried different field of views. I’ve tried different angles these things just do not work. When I purchased four of these things with the solar panels I figured that I couldn’t expect too much because of the price. The cameras do have a really good picture. The resolution is fine and I was overall surprised they did that. Well unfortunately that’s where everything ends. I thought that if I purchased a monthly plan that would fix the shortcomings of these cameras unfortunately it does not, and the seller admits that the cameras don’t do that well for triggering on objects that are moving linear toward the camera and that they have to be within 30 feet to trigger which they don’t the only thing my cameras trigger on and it could be 150 feet away are cars driving down the street at 50 miles an hour. I have four of these cameras and I wanted them to be able to trigger if somebody was attempting nefarious things at my home. Unfortunately the cameras will not trigger by a person unless they are about 10 feet from the camera and the seller admits this and as I stated to them, what good is the security system? To have it secure your property basically you need to have a camera 10 feet from any area that you want to be able to Secure and have a video record of somebody trying to do something they shouldn’t be doing. I’m not sure about most people, but that’s not my house. My one camera on the side I thought would be able to keep an eye on the side of my house unfortunately unless the people are trying to steal the camera itself, it doesn’t trigger. They need to be within 10 feet of the camera for it to trigger and record. And this is the same for the camera at the back of my house and in the front of my house and I even mounted one right in the driveway because we have a canopy and I mounted it right on the post and unless the person is within 10 feet of the camera and my car is more than 10 feet long so therefore They would have to be on top of the car for them to be within 10 feet from the camera before it would record and I don’t know about car thieves in the sellers neighborhood but in my neighborhood they don’t climb on top of cars to break into and steal them. But the cameras will trigger for every other reason known to man, these cameras, false trigger for everything for sun for clouds thermals all of that they will trigger, but if a grown man is 20 feet from the camera, jumping up and down and yelling and screaming, they don’t trigger. He has to be 10 feet from the camera for it to work. These are just plain junk. Now that I put holes in my house I’m not gonna take them down so the only thing they’re gonna be good for live viewing they do that well. If you need cameras just to be able to look outside of your house if for some reason you’re unable to go outside and look for yourself then these might be OK, but they certainly are not a security system unless the thieves are the ones selling them because anybody could break into my house and these cameras won’t even trigger. But if you’re looking to secure your house from clouds and shadows and thermals, because we all know how those are so dangerous to the security of our homes and our families then these would be what you should buy because they’ll trigger every time the clouds come by and they block the sun and you get shadows and when the sun heats up the house or the sheds and it causes thermals these cameras will trigger every five seconds. Just saying.

All other capabilities require a full paid subscription to activate. Device was bought primarily for the self contained power capability where there is no AC power available at the mount location to monitor ingress/egress to the property as well as the capability to cature onboard storage for motion alerts. Unfortunately the app does not accomodate this purpose. First, the device can only alert when an internet connection is available and this also disables any onboard storage capability from recording alerts. I also have a metered connection that I only enable when I want to access internet services which will incurr extra costs to maintain 24 hour monitoring service by the device even though the device maintains a wifi connection to my local network. This device is more conducive to an urban environment where it can monitor a limited area like residential entrances and blind spots. In a rural environment where you might want to monitor a laneway or rear of a property it fails miserably. With motion detection set on high, it was detecting up to 315+ alert events per day with no discernable change to any video captured to the cloud. I also had to disable audio capability on alerts because of the incessant audio alerts. Selecting 'moderate' motion detection missed multiple alerts, and even a vehicle coming down the laneway wouldn't be captured to the cloud in the time alotted for basic cloud service until it has passed out of view. Selecting 'low' detection never elicited any alerts. When reviewing captures from the cloud, the device annoyingly displays 5 seconds of badly blurred/pixelated video on each image viewed (see attached device images)

Great camera. Only thing is that when it arrived, I put my SD card in it and the entire SD card slot broke. So now the SD card is stuck inside the camera. So I can't record anything unless I buy the subscription. Other than that, it is a good security camera.

Had an issue with the cameras but customer service was great and rectified the issue.

Great camera. Have installed it to monitor my backyard. It worked well in summer and fall and now during winter, it has been working fine even in -27 degrees. Can't complain at this price. It has been sending regular notifications for motion detection and the solar panel has been keeping the battery charged up even in snowy winter. Bought my second one and both cameras are working great in the same app. Only reason for taking off one star was due to not being able to view both live feeds simultaneously in the app.
