My son used this at school and used his own money to buy a copy for home. Excellent step by-step guide for beginners. It built confidence in his drawing.

I brought this book for my 7 yr old grandson he like it Alot for his age to duplicate focus easy patterns to learn for beginner little kid we be having drawings battles 😂he teaches me technique how to draw different types of eyes and nose shapes.👍

My 6 year old loves this book. There’s plenty of room for him to practice multiple times, and add variations to each drawing. I love that there are some different types of options ‘tall body, different hair’ to give him more prompts to try.

Made these images into early elementary art projects. Kids love them. The shapes are simple enough to build confidence. Then their imaginations take off in the details.

Absolutely love all Usborne books and this one doesn’t disappoint! My five year old is obsessed. Love it!

We initially thought our oldest would love this. The illustrations are creative and cute. There is a good variety of drawings to inspire kids. However we ended up returning it after looking through it. I HATE that it allows kids to draw directly in the book. We wanted to find a drawing book that our child (and their siblings) can use and reference over and over. I know once my kids write in something, they will consider it “finished” and not want to use it again. Likewise the spine of the book seems like a problem—it would be hard to keep this book open while drawing. I didn’t want to pay to spiral bind a book that will only be used one time. I wish this could be converted to a dry erase book for reusing over and over again, or just remove the “draw inside” feature.
