I absolutely love this Scanmarker Pro! It has completely transformed the way I study and teach languages. As someone who works with students from various backgrounds, this pen has been an incredible tool—not just for language learners, but also for students with dyslexia and reading difficulties. It scans printed text with ease and reads it aloud clearly, which helps improve pronunciation and comprehension. The translation feature is fantastic. This is a game changer for my parents. They always receive legal documents from government that they’re not able to translate unless they scan it so this has been a great tool for them to use to translate English into Korean. It seems pretty accurate for the most part and does the job as long as you explain how to use to them. I am getting another one for my son for his reading as I like them to read more paper books than e-books.

This pen is pretty cool. My son struggles with reading and also wants to be independent. This pen will highlight the words and then read them aloud, pretty quickly after you highlight them. This is a pen that can fit in your pocket, and it is not small, unlike a typical pen that can be easily misplaced. However, it is small enough to fit in your pocket. We liked that it will also translate other languages. My son never charges things; he uses them until they die from lack of charging. So far, the battery is still going strong, and this was a Christmas gift. I would recommend!

Does not work as advertised

While we live in a world where we have apps that can take pictures of whole pages and translate them in seconds, does this still have a place. I say yes. There are situations where you can’t use your phone and something like this can make a student’s life so much easier. Especially if they are ESL students. I let my Korean friend use this and they said it is very accurate and helps them to focus on the language line by line instead of a “lazy translation” of the whole page. I never realized that it is so important to study a language line by line to learn the syntax and vocabulary properly. This pen aids in that. The screen is bright and vibrant and also very easy to navigate. I can honestly recommend this to anyone who wants to up their language game or just improve wha they are already working on.

As a high school math teacher this has been amazing foe my students who need help reading and student who are ELP. After sharing two more people have bought one recently.

This really is a fun advice. It’d be amazing just a few years ago. Unfortunately, with the recent tech and ai booms, it’s somewhat irrelevant. My plan was to use this a magic marker to translate words I didn’t know on the fly… only to realize I need to use an unwieldy rule device to ensure the scanner is looking at the correct word. This works if you are seated at a desk, but not convenient if you are reading from a couch or bed. If they find a way to shrink its size to that of a traditional highlighter, and improved the tip to be truly sensitive to what’s highlighted, I’d be interested to revisit this. It’s a great idea… just 10 years too late.

I cant say how thankful I am for this device. I have been looking for something to help my daughter learn to read, and when I saw this, I was skeptical. But thought it would break awesome. I ended up buying it and I am very impressed woth how well it works. It is very accurate and I think it will help with my daughter's learning.

Es un producto excelente. Consejo: hay que estar seguro de cual es tu propósito principal. Por ejemplo yo necesitaba que al escanear el texto, este pasara automáticamente al ordenador o móvil y traducido. Por eso al final elegí un Scanmarker Reader. Pero la ventaja de la versión Pro es que tienes una pantalla en donde lo ves todo ipso facto, lees lo que escaneas y te traduce sin necesidad de otro hardware. Son alucinantes estos chismes. Me gustaría destacar que aún más agradecida estoy con el servicio al cliente de la CIA de SCANMARKER. Ha estado por encima de cualquier buena espectativa en cuanto a la buena disposición, resolución y rapidez. Solicité su ayuda y rápidamente me han resuelto mis necesidades. También por parte del equipo de Amazon hicieron muy buen trabajo de guía y seguimiento. Solo me queda decir que además de unos productos excelente (Scanmarker Pro, Scanmarker Air o Scanmarker Reader), se puede contar con un servicio al cliente exquisito.

Great pen, far more user friendly than the name brand "C Pen" as this one is a touch screen. A few things to figure out with it, not hard, just takes time to learn all the functions because it does quite a bit. I was worried about not getting a name brand "C Pen", but glad we chose this one. Daughter has used it an entire semester now - great battery life, great quality

Battery drainage very fast ..poor performance.
