Being unscented is another advantage, especially when using it on appliances that come into contact with drinking water, as there isn't a strong chemical smell lingering afterwards. I tested it on a kettle with visible limescale build-up and was pleased with the results. After the recommended treatment time, much of the scale had dissolved, leaving the interior noticeably cleaner. I bought the Oust Powerful All Purpose Descaler from Amazon to clean my kettle, and it worked brilliantly! The instructions say to boil water, let it cool for 10 minutes, then add the sachet. I tried that method first, but it didn’t clean the kettle well. The second time, I added the sachet immediately after boiling the water, and it worked like magic — the fizzing was instant, and the limescale just disappeared! My kettle looked shiny and new. If it’s not fully clean after the first try, you can reheat the solution and leave it for another 5–10 minutes — that really helped remove any remaining scale. Another thing I appreciated is that it doesn’t leave any funny taste or smell. The instructions say to pour the solution away, rinse with cold water, then boil clean water once, but I boiled clean water twice just to be on the safe side — and the taste was perfectly normal afterward. I’ve only used this descaler for my kettle, but for that purpose, I highly recommend it. It’s powerful, easy to use, and great value for money!

I live in a very hard water area, so I had to use 2x pouches to get my kettle clean. Remember to use in a well ventilated room as very over powering fumes. Overall very happy with the results.

Oust Powerful All Purpose Descaler, Been using Oust for a while now i personally just repurchased the item again. This is a good all in one solution it effective at removing lime scale so perfect for kettles, coffee machine which is my main use as it clean them up just nicely. Now it does come with a strong chemical smell so you do need to boil the kettle a few times and rinse and repeat however, it does keep the limescale a bay for longer periods in comparison to other products ive used in the past especially if you live in a hard water area like i do. This is quite a fast acting treatment its kinda one reason i use it im not having to leave it lying around for a while to actually do something it quick so i can get the job done and move onto other things or actually have a brew. This is quite easy to use, 1 sachet leave for a couple of minutes, (shouldn't hearing any noise from the solution) empty the kettle for example, rinse, boil thoroughly several times boiling fresh water each time. Overall other than the chemical smell if you easy well enough the lime scale build up should be less and your have to repeat the process less often during the year its a good solution to cleaning out the kettle or coffee machines.

The product is good. The price is high. Watch out for the confusing terminology used in promoting this product. This product is generally sold everywhere as 3 sachets in a pack but when this seller mentions packs it is actually sachets they are talking about. So don’t be fooled by the mention of 18 packs. You will get only six packs each with 3 sachets in a pack. The cost per sachet is more expensive than from other sellers.

disappointing result, applied it to my steam iron, partially cleaned the rust limescale but had to flush the dirty water few times and still soiled my ironed clothes afterwards. besides, i got the same results using home recipes like white vinegar so as far as i am concerned, product is ove-rated.

I bought this product for my glass tea kettle. We have hard water where we are and leaves marks on the bottom of the kettle, one packet cleaned the inside of the kettle perfectly.

Would not recommend this

It really bettered the interior of my dirty kettle. Limescale has greatly diminished on the first try, but wasn't all gone. Will continue using it until everything's squeaky clean.
