Havent used for long, during use you can feel it working, muscles twitching in your back and diaphragm contracting, immediately after use, breathing is easier.

Best thing I've had in a long time
What a great item I use it when I go to the gym I know the difference with useing is when I was in the ring I did a charity boxing Match when I was useing it and I over powered the guy with my breathing and Keped It under control I would recommend it to anyone who wants to keep fit

Well made
I thing this is a brilliant device and will definitely help with your breath control. I've heard many good things about this device and it's pretty easy to use. The instructions are good and the videos are easy to follow too. Would definitely recommend. I just think the device could be £20-£30 cheaper based on what it's made from and how it feels but it's a unique device nontheless.

Great Lung Trainer - Cream Of The Crop!
Great training aid with loads of adjustments possible to do everything from improving ones VO2 Max to simply strengthening ones breathing whilst sat at the desk.... Bas has taken an already available concept and packaged it in a great way with great guides and all in a really handy carry case.

Probably worth £10
Initial review: If I saw this in the shops I would guess it would cost £10. Looks and feels extremely cheap. Even the box and packaging was cheap. There was some dirt marks on the wheel things too Used it once, will update later: Initial impression: I did the breath work for 30 reps on the number 3 wheel and it was way too easy. I'm in reasonable shape so maybe someone with lung conditions might find it more challenging Anyway so far I'm underwhelmed EDIT: Not fun to use at all. Low incentive to carry on using. Seeing no benefits. So far complete waste of money Will update again if I change my mind, if not then safe to say gave up on the product after few weeks

This is a piece of equipment everyone should have yet don't realize they need. This is probably my fifth or sixth I have purchased for myself and family members. It is gaming change in training how you breath. Well built device. A must buy.

I am almost 40 and for my whole life I have felt like my cardio system was the weakest link in my body. I am fine with low rep heavy lifting but whenever it came to running or boxing I felt like I would always be out of breath within a few minutes. Doing more cardio helps of course but I could not help shake the feeling that there was something wrong with me, that for all the effort I put into the cardio I should be performing better than I was. I heard about this thing on Bas' Youtube channel and I did some reading around. I was skeptical. It seemed to me like you could just get the exact same effect breathing through a straw. But I love Bas' personality and have laughed many times at his crazy Youtube videos so I figured I would trust him and give this thing a try. So basically this thing restricts airflow when you are breathing in, and there is a valve that allows you to breathe out as quickly as you want. So you are only stressing the inspiratory muscles used for breathing in. And because your outward breath happens so quickly, effectively you are straining your inspiratory muscles 90% of the time that you are breathing. The load becomes almost continuous. It comes with a wide variety of hole sizes for people of all abilities. The widest hole (#1) is almost zero resistance and would be suitable for a senior with breathing difficulties. As a dude with above average fitness I started at #6. From the very first session I could feel some soreness in the muscles around my ribs, which I knew could only be a good thing. It means I was going to become stronger! Having one way resistance versus breathing through a straw was a big difference. I don't know how to describe it but from the first few breaths with this thing I could tell something was different to continuous airflow restriction. The more sessions I used it, the more I felt soreness in muscles that I never knew I had. Muscles that clearly had never been trained before my whole life. I progressed quickly and I decreased the hole diameter by about 1 with each session. Now I am on hole #11, which is very significant resistance and I think I am going to stay here for a while. Hole #12 would be for literal professional athletes. Now when I am running or boxing I just don't feel out of breath. My heart rate still hits 170 like before but I am not gasping for air. It is really weird it almost feels like a super power! I can literally feel several mm thick of muscle around my ribs that I never had before my whole life. It feels awesome. I can expand my ribcage now to a size I never thought possible for my skeleton. It looks like the massive chest poses Arnold did in bodybuilding. This whole thing is mindblowing to me. I have been hitting the weights and bikes for more than 20 years and still nothing ever properly trained my breathing muscles all this time?! Why aren't more people talking about this?! The only downside is that I feel like it is expensive for what it is - basically some molded pieces of rubber. Also it smells/tastes weird and.. well... rubbery. But it works, and it works even better than I expected, and Bas is awesome so 5 stars. One reviewer was complaining that this thing caused him to lose his voice. I don't know what's up with that guy, but that sure as hell hasn't been a problem with me.
