I picked these up for my mini 3 drone. I tested these on my drone indoors and they work great. They don't seem to affect the drone's flight. Eventually I plant on trying them outdoors, but with the added weight I would have to register the drone. I may decide to do that down the road and if/when I do, I'll make sure to update the review.

I was hesitant buying these prop guards for my mini 3 but now I’m so glad I bought them. I just flew around my house at at a low height and at one point I hit a bush. I was so surprised the drone didn’t crash. I just backed up and continued to maneuvered around the house. These guards once installed makes the drone very sturdy and protective. I just keep the on! They did not affect the flight at all. Highly recommend them!

I bought these for my Mini 3 Pro in order to apply for the FAA Waiver of Flight Over People. These are a bit better than I expected, in terms of quality. They connect well and are easily assembled and clipped onto the drone. They do work. I tried them out on myself! I can confirm however that the drone does detect the Prop Guards are installed and does then disable Object Detection. Also, the statement that they do not affect "normal" flight is mostly correct. In fact, with the added weight of these and a beacon, the drone seems to be even a little more controllable. However, I flew this on a windy day and I can say that they do definitely have an effect on the drone's ability to handle wind. I flew this downwind in a gusty, 17mph wind (per current local forecast) and almost couldn't bring it back. Without the guards it still had to work to get back, but I wasn't worried about it. With the guards, I though I barely got it back and thought I might have to just land it and go retrieve it myself. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Very light and easy to install. It did not affect how the Mini3 Pro flew and protected the walls from the propellers. When I say it did not affect the flight I didn't notice and difference using the remote and how the drone reacted although after watching the video I took with the drone it wasn't smooth when I made 90 deg turns I've never experienced this using the drone outside although using the drone outside its now 5ft from the object. Bottom line it protects the drones propellers and they are very light.

Flying with the propeller guards installed disables forward and backward obstacle avoidance on the Mini 3 Pro. The drone recognizes that they’re installed. Besides that, I might be crazy but the added weight sure makes the drone feel more stable in the air. Like the wind doesn’t affect/move the drone as much. Very good product for the price; material doesn’t feel too cheap; better to have a prop guard break than a prop, and better to have a prop guard or prop break, than a wing.

Cheap. Broke on first flight. Cheap plastic.

The guards are useful but when it’s installed you won’t be allowed to go higher than 30m due to the weight.

Excellent product, easy to put on, light weight and also doesn’t affect the stability of my drone. I bought it as an extra protection for flying indoor and it did wonders. I do highly recommend it!

Brittle cheap material cracked with a very light impact I do not recommend

Nice product but not a light weight

Tested it and fits perfectly on the mini 3 pro and the drone flys fine with it. Slightly thinner and lighter than the dji model, the guard works well and even has a Velcro strap to hold the pieces together when dismantled. A small but practical touch.
