string too soft and easy to split

I have tried many different floss picks. I used to be able to buy Plackers at the Dollar Tree but they stopped carrying it. I tried some very expensive ones but they would cut my gums when I had tight spaces between jaw teeth. Also Plackers had a very good sharp end so I could work the point into the space between the teeth and keep out more plaque. These Plackers are very similar to what I used to buy, except the pick on the end is inside the handle - you just bend it out. Again it is a nice, sturdy pick. The picks do not cut my gums when flossing.

I picked up 4 packs of these under the old label in September 2023, and they were great. I purchased this version labeled, New, in June 2025, 2 packs, and they are one of the biggest disappointments in a product change I can remember in many years. Out of the package, the line of floss is straight and tight, but once used on a single quadrant of your teeth, it looks like the letter U. Sometimes, before you can finish flossing, one side either pulls out or the floss breaks. I’m not certain if it’s a bad design change, inferior materials, a counterfeit product, or what, but if the manufacturer wants to be known for the quality of the original product, something needs to change. If they and others are happy with this, that’s great, but it no longer works for me.

I have sensitive teeth due to not brushing much and the ribbon floss is the only one for me. I love having the option of a bag of these around.

Well, it's quite strange that suddenly all brands decided to switch to thin line which is the worst change. I don't understand reason behind this stupid decision. For this product, I liked its wide line design. However, it does have a problem. The line sticks out on both ends. When put in mouth, feels uncomfortable, constantly poking my mouth. I may have to use a utility knife to clean all of them. Wish manufacturer can improve it.

These work great. Nice thicker floss that doesn't hurt my gums.

I find it very convenient to use floss for my specialized dental care.

This is the second time I buy this floss. The first time, they were great that I even bought a second bag after I finished it. This time though, every single pick is horrible! I’ve used about 20 at this point and every single one sucks. The threads come apart after using it on like three teeth! I have to use 2-3 picks to get my whole mouth or the threads are so loosened and pulled apart that it doesn’t go in between my teeth anymore. The plastic part will hit my gums and the floss will be too loose to get in there. I learned the hard way after I peeled the roof of my mouth/gum area with the plastic. Now I use multiple picks to get all my teeth. Such a let down, they were great the first time around! The picture with multiple loose threads is after like 3 teeth. The one with like one loose thread is after 1 tooth!

Far to weak for my teeth, my teeth are close together, need 2 or 3 of them to do the job, as they break so easily.

Very hard to find and found them here. The fact that I searched for them, means I rate them highly. Very durable and effective.

I found the ribbon let loose during flossing,maybe not a problem with the flosser …my teeth are extremely tight
