Really impressed with the performance of this filter and pump so far. Had to replace my old gravity system as it had worn out and failed a few months ago, after many years of reliable 24 / 7 use. My pond was quite dirty, full of weed, leaves and other matter. After cleaning majority of debris by hand and with a net, I installed the new system 'fairly' easily and turned it on. I must say that I expected more water to be flowing down my small waterfall, but it is equal to what I was getting from the old one. Next morning the water had cleared considerably, and now, 5 days later it is crystal clear, almost looks like it's been polished. If I have any negatives to pass on it is for the jubilee clips that came supplied with the kit. They simply do not fit onto the supplied hose. I tried heating up the hose with hot water, opened the clips beyond there max point and they just do not fit, so had to nip into my local DIY and buy all new slightly bigger ones. All in all very happy with the performance of the system, just a shame the clips were too small.

Where do I start: 1/ The pump is powerful and the water fall as a result is flowing beautifully. it comes with 10m wire. has a convenient handle to lift it from the pond. it is 3.5kg so its weight holds it down and no need like lighter pumps to tie it down to something. and I hope it will last a few years because it is a good make. it comes with all the connections even the inflow has a connector. 2/ the pressure filter is much bigger than I thought. But that means a better filter. Its made from very good quality material. it comes with all the connections. the handle for the filter is removable. there was a comment about the handle splitting. I don't really mind that, I have a tool box with socket type wrench to use. there is a filter indicator on this model, I really encourage paying more and getting this one. all the connections come with it. it has a 5m cable. kind of defeats the purpose when you have 10m on the pump, I dont mind because I got the electric supply close to both of them. UV light working perfectly. Some reviews commented on having to replace it. ell, if you use it and it goes in the first few days, unlucky. I keep an eye on it. 3/ The best this is the 10m hose (good bore size that made my old pump and tiny hose look like a bicycle in a F1 race!). the clips are the best kind you could get. 4/ this Package contains everything you need and it is still £100-200 cheaper than the shops I visited. It comes with instruction, little but straightforward. All fitting instructions are on youtube anyway, it was so easy ,I put my own video on youtube, link below. one bad point: the pump does not come with pre pump sponge. Of course I was not expecting that, equally I did not expect the drawing flow to be so powerful that it sucked some of the tadpoles in to the filter to meet their maker. I had to fit a pre pump sponge, I know it defeats the purpose as it will not pull in solid material that this pump can handle extremely well. but that will be short lived till the tadpoles have matured. My pond is a natural pond (frogs/newts, dragonflies/beetles etc) and not for fish. this pump will be more suited for fish, but am very pleased with it to use as it is with a pre pump sponge (around £10) that I will clean every so often. Since this is my first year with a working pond that I repaired last year, I may well get fish letter in the summer, so I am prepared. Good points : all mentioned above, but the best is, the water actually started to clear on day 4! by the weeknd it will be complete! This may look like an expensive thing to buy, but after buying two little pumps (each £30 and more) and asking for a quote from the local pond man ( the same system by another maker plus fitting came up to £680) trust me on this, if you are a beginner, this package is made for you. Excellent product and arrived very quickly, well within the times given. Only one negative, the jubilee clips supplied are too small. The maximum size was 32mm, the same as the pipe and thus unable to move the clip once in situ. Had to buy newer larger clips so they could be tightened onto the pipe. At the moment I only had Screwfix available which sold them in packs of 10, thereby costing an extra £10. Other than that I'm more than happy with the kit.

Absolutely rubbish, each part has broken one after the other, first the turn handle, then the filters and now the part where you release water from can no longer turn its snapped off , I have contacted the seller but so far nothing constructive. My fish had to go as system failed so many days and fish had no oxygen left. Fed up with failed products so have now filled in my pond , it's heartbreaking and no offer as yet of a full refund , after 2 months purchase

This kit has worked really well in my pond and it is the clearest it has ever been. I purposely bought a kit over what I required according to various pond filter calculators on the web. Easy to assemble and install. I have cleaned the filters once so far which again was easy but you do have to keep an eye on your pond water level. I was quoted over £1000 by a shop for a suitable pump and filter kit for my pond and this then is good value for money.

I was using a gravity filter and upgraded to the PFC 20000 and 8000 pump kit. Fairly straightforward to install in a small recycling box "shed" so all hidden away. Within 72 hours I had a clear.pond (6000 ltrs) for the first time in several years. Great product and very efficient.

First of all there was a mix up with missing part but soon fixed by the seller this system is the best I’ve had for a long long time easy to fit very strong pump and filter well worth it thanks allpondsolution mark

Filter is brilliant, pump is rubbish and stopped working after a few days. Customer service is non existent, still trying to get a replacement pump 3 weeks on.
