My ML350 is now 11+ years old and had developed a transmission "shudder". If I was going up a hill at local town speeds (35-45mph), it would make this shuddering vibration instead of downshifting. I could almost predict where and when it would happen. The first thing I did was do a fluid and filter change. Now I love Mercedes, but they marketed the 722.9 transmission as "filled for life" which is a crock of BS. When I drained the fluid, it was BLACK. Not good. I replaced the filter and stand pipe and, using the air compressor method pumped in about 5 liters of new fluid. Because my model doesn't have a drain plug on the toque converter, you cant get it all out unless you do a rather complicated flush. I figured, I'd do this change, then do another in a few thousand miles. It seemed to be smoother after doing all this (could be my imagination), but the shudder remained. Well, that fluid change in a few thousand miles turned into 2 1/2 years (best laid plans, etc!). All this time, that annoying shudder was there. So, a few weeks ago I finally drained and replaced another 5 liters of fluid (just a little brown this time), and I added the entire tube of LiquiMoly ATF. After driving for a day or two, the shudder is completely gone and she shifts like butter! Like the day it was driven off the lot! Now I realize this is anecdotal evidence. It could have been that the second 5 liter fluid change lightened up the fluid enough that it cleaned itself out or something, but I am chalking it up to the LiquiMoly. It was too dramatic a change for just changing half the fluid. Your mileage may vary, but I am sold. It gave my transmission new life!

THIS WORKS!! My 8L90 with the shuttering torque converter comes back. I flushed and replaced trans filter. Topped off with the Mobile 1 blue label ATF with the Liquid Molly and fingers crossed it runs great at 81k Miles. Recommend changing or flushing then add Molly with new ATF.

Used this product with a new AT filter on 2007 Subaru Tribeca with 283K miles. Transmission became much more quiet and shifting improvements are noticeable. Acceleration got much smoother and overall feel of car is as if it dropped 15 years of age and quarter of million miles. Great product!

Mi transmisión automática comenzó a fallar y no tenía en ese momento para repararla pero tenía que continuar trabajando. Mi mecánico me recomendó el producto con la advertencia que era una solución temporal. Me funcionó por 6 meses, tiempo suficiente para ahorrar el dinero antes que me deje tirado la transmisión. Nach 200 km sind Drehzahlschwankungen weg,ich hatte immer im 5 Gang bei 80kmh immer so eine nervige Schwankung gehabt.Schaltvorgange sind weicher geworden und zwar spürbar,es bringt auf jedem Fall was ,zumindest bei mir.Alte Automatik Getriebe aisin Opel Signum.

Update: 1 year and 15000 Kms later, the power steering is still holding good, no further leaks or steering fluid level drop. Used this on my 2009 Honda Civic power steering, which had developed a minor leak and quoted at over INR 100,000 by the dealer to fix. Haven’t seen the power steering fluid level drop in the one month and 1500 odd KM after adding the Liquimoly ATF to the power steering fluid, and the power steering (pump) has become noticeably quieter with the whining noise gone away completely. Hopefully the additive helped in softening the seals enough as claimed and the leakage is stopped for good.
