GeForce GT 610 2G DDR3 Low Profile Graphics Card, PCI Express 1.1 x16, HDMI/VGA, Entry Level GPU for PC, SFF and HTPC, Compatible with Win11

Purchased this GT 610 2G 64-Bit Graphics card after suspecting failure of the onboard Video Processor for my Dell Optiplex 9020. Installation was under 5 minutes, my system was back up and running after rebooting twice for recognition after the repair. This card is a little on the low end but it is rugged and works very well on my office desktop, running at 1920 x 1080 Res. I will say it is well worth the price paid; saved myself over $900.00 plus associated downtime in less than 10 minutes; not bad.

OK video, but I had to use the VGA port and a VGA->HDMI adapter. The HDMI port doesn't seem to be active on this card. I have done some research online and many report this model (not just the vendor) as being prone to this. Note that this is a low profile card, not for use in standard computer cases, although without the metal tab, it WILL fit in any PCIe slot. Most WIndows versions recognize it immediately, so installation is trouble free.

My wife needed a new graphics card on her desktop. This card accomplished the job.

It's fine. I put it in an older optiplex slimline running win 11 to make operation a little smoother. Windows pulled down the drivers automatically which is nice. Installation is just as easy as any other card. After install I did some thermal testing and noticed the temperature climbing near 75c. This is within operating temperature but seemed hot for just playing a YouTube video. Long story short, the gpu fan wasn't activating. It would spin on initial boot but would stop after POST and wouldn't come back on despite the heat. I've run into this problem before working on other machines so mercifully I knew to disable fast startup on Windows 11 which I typically do anyway on a fresh install, just hadn't gotten to it yet. So if your thermals aren't where they should be, check that first. Otherwise it's fine for basic usability on older slimline machines.

I added this to a Dell Optiplex 990 SFF (small form factor) desktop. Running Win10 and connected to a VGA monitor.I got the driver from www dot nvidia dot com slash en-us slash geforce slash drivers slash results slash 132845You will need this. After installing and rebooting, Windows 10 defaulted to some very low res low functioning driver. It was helpful I already had the driver installer downloaded.Physically it could be a little challenging. If you'll be using the SFF adaptive rear plate, watch the video on the product page but be aware for the screws in back he is using a socket driver, probably 6mm or something close. If you're stuck here without a socket that fits, you'll need to use pliers, carefully. You'll need to reuse the screws. The screw that goes into the board is a Phillips, probably a #1. This was actually not needed for the replacement plate that I got.Fitting the thing back into the computer case takes some careful alignment at both the bottom and top of the rear plate/bracket combined with carefully getting the card edge into its slot. Getting all 3 areas properly aligned at the same time and carefully using just enough brute force. Work on a sturdy table with adequate light and you can do it!Then fire it up, and run the NVIDIA driver installer, don't mess with Device Manager or anything; it's not needed.

Had to find a replacement video card for my desktop because of Win 11 and its stricter hardware requirements and this one did the trick at an excellent price point. I am not a heavy gamer but I think the output on this card is really very nice and works great on all my apps. Smaller profile so it doesn’t take up a ton of room inside the case. No issues with it at all.

This low-profile graphics card fit inside my Dell Inspiron D06S computer perfectly, and works great! (My on-board graphics output quit working, so I had to install this card to be able to use my computer again.)

Wanted to run this graphics card on Windows 10. However when I installed it there was no drivers with it and it wouldn't work so I ended up taking it to a "teckie" friend who sorted it out for me.

Good basic video card that should satisfy anybody butthe most ardent Gamers or Hipsters.
