I needed to get my crypto off coinbase as many experts recommended that you should store your investment in a hard wallet instead of on the exchange for the best security for your investment. The Ellipal titan 2.0 was super simple to set up and update. The first thing I did before setting up my account on the device was to update the firmware, since many amazon reviews stated they could not update the device. I went to the Ellipal website downloaded the firmware to the sd card included with the device, and followed the instructions on the website to update the firmware. I had no issues updating the firmware it was a very simple and straightforward process. In the documentation included with the device is a QR code to complete the setup of the Titan 2.0. I spent about an hour setting up, testing and transferring my crypto to the hard wallet that I set up on my phone with the Ellipal app. I thought it was going to be difficult to set up the device but this was not the case as the instructions for setting up the device were easy to follow. The Titan 2.0 seems like it is well built. It is solid and it has some weight to it, it seems to be a quality device. Overall I could not be happier with the unit.

The ELLIPAL Titan 2.0 is exactly what I wanted in a cold wallet: fully air-gapped and offline. No Bluetooth, no USB, no Wi-Fi—just QR code transactions. That alone gives serious peace of mind. The build quality is excellent; the metal body feels rugged and tamper-resistant. Setup was straightforward, the touchscreen is responsive, and managing multiple coins, tokens, and NFTs is smooth through the companion app. It supports a huge list of assets, which makes it easy to keep everything in one place. Worth it for long-term holders.

Current warnings on security of this unit. I bought it to transfer xrp for long term. Storage but found out there are several complaints if losses . I will not be using mine and leave tokens i X card until I find better security. Warnings recently from a first quarter 2026....... damn.

I first got into blockchain technology in 2017. That makes me an early adopter, but not necessarily an OG, like those that got in around the 2012 to 2013 era. That being said, I believe I have some wisdom to impart to those looking to upgrade their wallet security. A wallet such as this not only gives you control over your private keys, but stores private keys offline - hence the "air gapped" technology. That's not just a selling point, it's highly critical to do this. Even updating the firmware on the device is done offline through a sD card connected to your dock, which is connected to the wallet. This wallet also supports many different types of crypto as well as the newer address formats - unlike older wallets such as the one I transferred from - the Ledger Nano S. As an example, cryptos such as Litecoin now have the native segwit address format, which is not supported by older wallets. It is faster and cheaper transactions when you use these address types. Don't ask me to explain much beyond that, do your own research! At first, I was a bit overwhelmed with the transfer. Because when I imported my private keys, only one of my assets showed up initially. But that was because the older addresses were not compatible with the new wallet. So I transferred my coins from the older address is into the new ones that were created by the Ellipal. It was very cheap and fast to do so. Something to keep in mind when you do this is that those old addresses and assets contained by them will always be connected to this wallet even though they won't show up, as long as you are using the same seed phrase. You can check all of this on blockchain Explorer. Combine this with a faraday cage, and you are essentially collapse-proof, and although you may not have internet to use the blockchain in such a scenario, it will be there when services are restored.

Great cold waller. Needs UI upgrade though. Not as easy to use as many others, but feature rich, versatile and comfortable hold and read..

Setup Recommendations: Firmware Update – I highly recommend updating the firmware as soon as you open the box. It’s a quick process and adds an extra layer of security. Micro SD Card – The included SD card didn’t format properly, but after purchasing a new one, I had no issues updating the device. This was a minor inconvenience, but something to be aware of. Areas for Improvement: Screen Protector – Aligning the included screen protector was tricky. It would be great if Ellipal provided a second protector or sold them directly in their store. Fortunately, third-party options are available on Amazon. Overall, the Ellipal Titan 2.0 is an excellent cold wallet with strong security features, high-quality construction, and an easy-to-use interface. Aside from minor accessories-related issues, I highly recommend it for anyone looking to keep their crypto secure.

produit très qualitatif, il faut prévoir si vous n'en n'avez pas déjà un lecteur de carte micro SD notement pour installer les mises à jour... Sinon c'est dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de tuto complet en Français sur you tube ou sur leur site. Je suis pas expert en la matière et je galère un peu à tout comprendre... très content de mon achat malgrès tout, c'est rassurant de savoir ses crypo en sécurité!
