Wyspell Cat Tarot Cards: A 78-Card Tarot Deck with Guidebook for Beginners - Beautiful Unique Deck for Cat Lovers and Enthusiasts

I love cats but I hate anything with cats in clothes. HOWEVER, these are cartoon like cats and the clothing is minimal and absolutely darling/hilarious. They say to go through your new deck and choose the cards you like best, the ones you like least, then go through the three piles to "acquaint" yourself. I had a pile of ones I like best and ones that were liked and absolutely no cards in the like least "cat"agory. The colors are cheery, they have shiny gold edges, there's some tongue-in-cheek with the illustrations... the only thing I'd wish to be different would be slightly smaller. Don't understand why tarot cards have a standard size that doesn't fit smaller hands. I'm 65 so there's also the issue of paining the knuckles if I work with them too much. I can't shuffle them normally as I haven't the stretch. Again, the way most tarot cards are but it would be awfully nice if they'd be a bit more cognizant of the fact that most purchasers are likely women and there's a large enough amount of women with smaller hands. So... Not easy to shuffle The size is normal, which means they are too big for many women's hands The quality of the cards is fine but I've older cards that are nicer that didn't cost more than these. Different times. Still giving a 5 star (would do 4 1/2 if they had it) because I just adore the illustrations.

I surprised myself by purchasing the Wyspell Paws Tarot! Cutesy, cartoony images aren't usually my style when choosing a tarot deck, and I don't generally gravitate towards the color pink, which features prominently on the box and guidebook. But I've been very happy with my other purchases from the Wyspell brand, so that lead me to looking through their full product line. This cat deck started to grow on me! And for the reasonable price, I decided to give it a try. I found myself smiling as I looked through the card images - these chubby little cats wearing backpacks and baseball caps, jackets and capes, and other costumes/outfits, have such personality! I realized I actually loved the bold colors and fun drawings. The name of each card is clearly written in a voice bubble along the bottom of the card. The cardstock is thick with gold foil gilding on the edges, and the mouse design on the back is fun. The two-piece box is hard and sturdy. The guidebook has pink pages, upright and reversed meanings, and sample spreads. Be sure to scan the QR codes (one on the extra card, one in the back of the guidebook) for bonus materials - a tarot journal and more guidebook material! This deck follows the general imagery of the Rider-Waite-Smith system, so the cards are easy to read for beginners. Because of the cute designs, I can see myself using this deck to read for friends who might be intimidated by RWS images as a way to introduce them to tarot in a more lighthearted way. Very happy with this newest addition to my tarot deck collection!

These are one of my new, favorite decks!! I even went to the trouble to include several photos. They arrived next day delivery (a day earlier than expected). I have another Cat Tarot deck so this is only my second cat themed deck- but I love cats and I love these cards! This deck, even more so than my first cat tarot. I really like the material and the thickness of the cards. And the edges of the cards are gold gilded. The size is standard Tarot deck size, (Rider-Waite). The illustrations are just adorable. I like that each card’s depiction is in keeping with the Rider-Waite universal theme and are easily recognizable to anyone familiar with RW illustrations. The use of the color pink is a nice choice, imo. I love all the color schemes. (As an artist that is important to me.) They’re whimsical and fun to use and are a most welcome addition to my extensive card collection. They are even better than I expected and am very happy I decided to buy them! The price is very reasonable for these cards. I will be showcasing them occasionally, on my upcoming YT channel bc I know many readers will want to have these! I just did my first reading with these cards and I can assure you, (for me anyway), I really resonate with them. The reading was spot on. When I first laid hands on the deck this morning, I just knew they were special and my intuition never leads me astray! The box is very sturdy and also very artistic. I looked at every card and the artwork is very cute as well as accurate to traditional decks. And I like the look of the backs of the cards. Too often that aspect is overlooked by the designers. I will buy a deck or not buy one, very often depending on the artwork of the backs. I wish designers would be creative with that too! The cards and accompanying booklet fit nicely inside the box. Great find! I am quite chuffed !!

I wanted to introduce my kiddo to tarot with the rider waite deck and it was a total flop. She got bored. This deck is based on the rider waite deck and is colorful, eye catching, and respectful. My daughter has a much easier time using the accompanying booklet as well. She is even starting to interpret what she's sees in the card with the reading (she's 8, so I find that impressive), because the pictures are simple but engaging. It's the book that often can make or break a tarot deck for beginners. The book is excellent, and gives different interpretations based on circumstances: love, money, etc. I've been using tarot for almost 20 years and I love this deck enough I'm going to buy spares for teaching and one for myself. It has a very lighthearted feeling to it that lends well to new learners and group environments. Side note: With any deck, regular cleansing is still important, this one is no exception.

Great quality for the price. Cards feel similar to what an average deck of cards are like. The art is sooo cute and funny and well done. The imagery in the deck is true to traditional tarot which was cool to see. I love the sturdy box it comes in, and the booklet is amazing! It has meanings for ALL of the cards plus the reversals. Very cool and helpful. I love this deck!

I have probably at least 50 sets of tarot and oracle cards and these are by far the best ones I own. I also rarely feel so good about a deck that I actually review it. I say this is the best one because the quality is remarkable. They are the perfect size...not too big and not too small. They the card stock that they use is amazing and not at all flimsy....the cards slide with ease when shuffling as well. They FEEL good to the touch...if that makes sense. Lastly, the gold leaf edging is perfect. I have other similarly edged decks but the edges stick together and doesn't work wonders for readings...but not these!!! I cannot wait to purchase more decks from Wyspell. The art work is also super cute.

I love this deck 🖤 This was my 2nd Tarot deck and I was researching for a couple days but saw this one and couldn’t get it out of my mind so naturally I bought it. I am usually attracted to Dark, Fantasy, Botanical or Cottage Core artwork but this deck spoke to me. Maybe because I am a cat lover and an animal lover. First of all the artwork is lovely, adorable, bright, very positive and a little humorous. The gold trim is also gorgeous as is the size and thickness of the cards themselves. I have small hands and I find this deck is very comfortable to use. Now the little booklet inside is absolutely wonderful. The descriptions for upright and reversed cards are really meticulous and incredibly informative. I also appreciate as a Tarot Beginner that it provides pages with quick reference guides for each category. I have done readings for myself and others and I can say it is also a very accurate Tarot deck. If you are thinking of purchasing seriously stop thinking and buy it, you will not regret it I guarantee it. I almost never write reviews but this deck certainly deserves one!

Another great Wyspell deck. I really like this company and these cards are perfect. They have a good feel and are a good size. The instructing guide is also awesome!
