Great set for beginners and advanced turners alike
They come ready to use but were not as sharp as they could be. After a little honing job they cut like butter. The bowl tool is extremely helpful when turning bowls with the bow and notch. Handles are super light weight but are strong. I love the polished look of the tools. It ads a nice touch and looks fancy. Cant beat the quality of these tools for the price. Makes a great set for beginners and advanced turners.

Hold an edge for a long time.
A very nice beginner set. I recently purchased a lathe and ordered these and I cannot believe how well they hold an edge. Being able to rotate the replacement tips provides a Being able to rotate the tips allows lots of cutting time for each blade. The replacement blades are easy to install.

Way better than expected for the price! Im still new to turning, so I dont have a wealth of experience, but these feel solid and have turned some pretty good pieces so far.

Curs great but hex bolt comes loose with use
Would have given it 5 stars when I first purchased it. It cuts great, but the hex bolt comes loose when turning. It constantly needs retightening. This was not the case at first.

Not a good value initially but great customer service
My rating is more tied to the customer service I received than the actual product. Although the price was very attractive the quality was not what I needed. This set comes with no replacement cutters and the installed ones were not as sharp (and therefore did not cut as well) as a different set I had bought previously. I like that you are able to use the handles separately or combine two when you need a longer handle. I should have opted for a more expensive set. I was incredibly impressed with the seller’s customer service. When I indicated my dissatisfaction they provided quick responses and seemed to genuinely care about making customers happy. They were able to match my needs to a better quality product they sell. I appreciate this seller’s timely resolution and level of customer service.
