This is ingenious and worth the money. It is very effective, especially for long runs when you are working solo. My only slight concern is accuracy as the gizmo does flex, by design, and that could impact a measurement by about 1/8-1/4". However! This is not exactly designed for precise measurements, so that variance isn't a big deal to me. If you want precise, then I might recommend a Bosch laser measure device. Otherwise, this is a great invention and has been a great add to my utility tape measure. Forge on!

My husband is a commercial real estate appraiser. As part of that, he (or someone on his team) need to measure the buildings they appraise. He has a laser measuring device for the inside, but for the outside of the buildings, he generally uses a 300ft rolling tape. He is forever joking about taking someone to "hold the end of the tape" at an inspection. I saw this and figured, at this price, I'd see if he liked it. He LOVES it. Says it is amazing!! He said it was easy to attach to his measuring tape and he isn't sure how it grips the corners so easily, but he has to actually shake his tape to get it to release. We are going to get them for all his employees!! Great little gadget!!

I love this product thought about inventing one however I did not have to because I asked Amazon and there it was thank God for Almighty Amazon lol I'm in the carpentry and gutter business (nonprofit) and it's particularly helpful when measuring Downspouts

It works, a little big though

What I liked: It worked as advertised. It clipped onto my Klein tape measure and the grip works well. I can see homeowners using it for multiple measurements, such as- distance between fence posts, gardening, measuring a table length etc What can be improved: My Klein tape measure is now stuck with this attachment since the tape measure itself has steel prongs on the metal tab that this product slides over, I cannot seem to get it off. If you want to take off this application I would suggest making sure your tape measure does not have prongs to begin with Overall I am satisfied with the product, I will certainly be using it around the house.

Tape measures are always slipping off when measuring long areas. This puts a stop to that. It works very well and makes measuring a lot less aggravating

Best thing on a construction site to since canned beer. I had a delay on an order and you guys more than made up for it. The amount of labor this decice can save in one day easily pays for itself by noon. Thanks Josh

Depending which tape rule is used I found it off by 1/8 to 3/16” off, most rules did not center properly on the unit, I’m upset I ordered two before testing it you, only plus side is when you need to measure over 8’ working alone and just need a close measurement

This product is a truly great idea and initially worked superbly. However, the experience was ruined by a major design flaw: the way the tape measure is held within the grip is poorly engineered. During retraction from a high-up position, the grip failed completely, causing it to fall off, and I subsequently lost it. For a simple bit of plastic, the price of over £20 is significantly overpriced, especially considering the fundamental failure in its design.
