Absolutely brilliant compact A4 printer, with scanner and photocopier. Supplied with small starter ink packs. HP Instant Ink subscription gives you an upgraded 6 months free trial in you register for it within a week of receiving or setting up your printer. This gives you free ink to your door and enables you to work out what your typical printing needs are in a month to know which monthly subscription package is best for you after the trial ends, and then you keep getting genuine HP ink 50% cheaper than in store. Very easy to instal and use from the HP app on your computer, and works seamlessly from a phone app too, so long as each device is on the same WiFi network that you've set the printer to. It only works with WiFi. There is no cable. No problems printing anything. Couple of glitches in the first couple of days, with it saying printer was online but unavailable, when I then learned that if this happens you need to switch everything off and on again to reset it. Everything seems to be stable since then - no problems printing from laptop or phone, from any document/page/image/photo source. HP customer support is superb. Prompt callbacks, professional support will talk and walk you through what to do to help you with your query. Patient and friendly support agents willing to help dummies. Print quality is great. Works with ease. Total bargain. Fabulour price. Great service from Amazon, too. I'm so glad I chose HP, and love my printer/copier/scanner. It prints instantly, and is fast enough for my domestic needs. Colour prints look true to colour.

Our old printer was been troublesome connecting then printing, then the cartridge price went up by quite a bit so we decided to recycle it and replace.This HP one is easy to set up. Connects to all our devices easily and quickly and the main thing it works.The ink seems to last well and the printing is good quality.You can subscribe to a replacement ink scheme (we haven't as we are occasional printers) but the cartridges seem to last a long time anywayFor what we paid it's great value and does what it says on the tin

Arrived quick. Fairly easy to set up (albeit with HP software which isn’t good). Enough ink for a couple of pages of printing.

I couldn’t get this to work I had two different guys come and set it up and this does not work I messaged the company and they supplied big long emails how to set it up but it doesn’t work and it has someone’s name on very disappointing

Very nice printer — small, simple, and prints well, nothing fancy but works perfectly. I love the HP membership option, where you can print for very little cost. Honestly, it’s amazing because I used to spend £20–30 on ink after printing about 10 pages, and then months would pass without using it, and the ink would dry out, forcing me to buy more. This time, I decided the ink cost more than the printer itself (it was on sale), so I bought it and got a free trial for a few months — I didn’t pay for ink at all. Great option, great printer, very easy to connect and set up, looks nice too. Highly recommend!

I’ve owned quite a few HP DeskJet printers over the years, and while this one is okay for basic home printing, it’s probably not the best DeskJet I’ve used.Print quality itself is perfectly fine for everyday documents and colour printing, and setup was fairly straightforward initially.The biggest issue I’ve had is connectivity with my laptop. Even after following HP’s setup guides, my laptop still struggles to properly detect the printer at times, which means I haven’t really been able to use the scanner functions properly.I also occasionally get print jobs stopping halfway through, which can be frustrating when printing larger documents.Since I mainly use it just for standard printing it’s still usable for my needs, but overall the reliability and connectivity haven’t been as good as older HP DeskJet models I’ve owned.

The worst printer I ever had, it takes ages to print anything or doesn't print anything at all. Don't buy this product. Very disappointed in the brand that is very well known on printers market. But will have to get another printer from different brand.

Very slow to print,have returned as not suitable for my needs.had to replace ink cartridges after 10 days, printing about 10/12 pages a day
