These items were delivered quickly and of good quality. I chose white instead of black to not limit the light coming in my vents. The instructions were easy to follow and my first trip driving in a torrential downpour showed that they did not leak into my open vent. I love the idea of being able to leave my vents open when it is hot outside and I am off hiking. I was a bit unnerved to have to drill four holes in the metal sides of my existing vents for each vent cover. I will check the nuts and screws occasionally to make sure they have not come loose. I found that my job of centering the vent cover over the vent was made easier by drawing lines on my roof. I considered vent covers for quite some time and found that these were exactly what I expected. A good purchase at a fair price.

This is a perfect fit if and easy install if you have a electric or battery powered drill, and a basic set of drill bits, screwdrivers and wrenches. If you have one of those exhaust fans that has the four square mounting loops on each corner of the fan this vent hood will not work.

VERY STURDY! These covers will fit the bill. They look to be easy to install, just needing to drill 4, 3/16" holes into the metal flange of the existing vent frame and mount 4 brackets with provided hardware. NO DRILLING INTO YOUR ROOF! Really the only complaint I have isn't with the product but with Amazon packaging people not providing the mounting hardware for one of the two vent covers I ordered and because Amazon doesn't allow me to just get the missing hardware without returning the entire order, I had no choice but to go to a dealer like e-trailer and spend an extra $18 w/shipping for a replacement set of hardware

I bought two of these for a vent and a fan. The vent went on without a hitch. it had a nice high metal cowling to attach to. marked it out, drilled, everything was great. Just following directions. Then came to put the hood on the fan vent. It had a plastic cowling. Because of the electronics in the fan it really limited where I could drill. with some careful planning, swapping out a few washers to fit on one side it seemed to come out ok. It certainly wasn't as easy as the simple vent I covered, but all in all it worked out and both seem secure and let in air and no rain as desired.

Well built, easy install. Allows you to leave your restroom vent cover up and open during rainy weather. Never had an issue with rain getting in.

Amazing product! Doesn’t come with a mesh screen, but the rood vent does so I suppose there is no need. Clear instruction for mounting, takes about 10 minutes. The material is high quality, will definitely withstand all road debris. The size covers the entire vent, my vent since it was second hand didn’t even have a vent cover to open and close it so having this product was essential for me to even use the vent. My vent was sealed off since it was missing the cover so don’t mind how ugly the roof is, I assure you the vent is actually working now. All the mounting hardware is included, I lost 1 of the washers and lock washers in a crack while fiddling with it but you can use whatever washer and lock washers you find that fits the bolt.

I am very happy with this product. It came just as described and right on time too. It was very easy to install and works and looks good too. I highly recommend this seller.

Ordered three to cover existing vent covers that perpetually degraded from UV exposure, even though the trailer was tarped for 6 months over the winter…..easy installation, place the cover over the vent, approximating a centered position, this is the most time consuming part , mark the locations through the vent holes on the roof, place the angle brackets over the roof markings and this will locate the position to drill on the vent frame. The washers that go on the inside of the vent frame may be problematic if you have a plastic frame protruding up the interior sides of the vent…..I found the washers fit by placing them on first, sliding the washer between the plastic interior trim and vent wall, place the screw from the outside in through the drilled hole through the washer, then expansion washer, then secure with supplied nut. The positioning and drilling take most of the time, securing with nuts is easy. Apply anti-seize paste to the outside bolts securing the cover to the angle brackets and do not over tighten to avoid cracking the cover.

La instalación es complicada, a pesar del instructivo se requieren materiales especiales como por ejemplo una claraboya que sea de metal ya que va anclada a la misma y si es de plástico se puede romper.
