Reliable for Dashcams and Video Recording
This 256GB microSD card by Silicon Power is from a brand I wasn’t familiar with before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve been using it in my dashcam for my car, and it’s been performing perfectly. I’ve had no compatibility issues, and it reads and writes data reliably. It has all the features you need for video recording, including high-capacity storage for long recording sessions. So far, it’s been very dependable and hassle-free. If you’re looking for a large, reliable microSD card for dashcams or similar devices, this one works well and offers good performance at a reasonable price.

Good for Nintendo Switch & Sony PSP
Bought a couple of these SP 512gb micro SD cards one for my Switch and the other for my PSP, have to say they work absolutely spot on especially in my old CFW PSP 1000 with a ProDuo to Micro SD card adapter, it formated it just fine and shows all the memory card space. Just in the middle of transferring my stuff over to my CFW Switch V2 and the write speeds are pretty decent especially for some of the heavy files sizes, 512gb gives me plenty of space to add my music, video files and games. Overall very impressed with these cards.

Terrible
An awful product - slowdowns, glitches, errors and regular freezes when trying to copy data from my PC to the microSD card. It's now gone into the bin - Sandisk only from now on...

Check latest Tomshardware review for microsd cards on june 2020 This card performs amazingly at the same level of my expensive sandisk extreme pro and sandisk extreme on Raspberry pi 4 4gb and Rpi 4 8gb running raspbian 32/64 bit, manjaro 64 bit 20.06, ubuntu-mate 20.04 and TwisterOS 1.3. They seems reliable so far, I've been using them generously. However, if you own an odroid product like Odroid-N2 or Odroid-C4 and you want to install it on official ubuntu 20.04 and 18.04, please do Not buy this. They are somehow incompatible with those hardkernel products. Maybe they are A3 class micro sd cards, it does NOT say. I almost RMA my Odroid-C4 thinking there was a defective SBC board I got. Also, if you are going to use Armbian on C4 and N2, same issue, same story. Worth to mention, surprisingly they worked just fine on latest coreelec for C4. Remember if you are gonna reuse them, always use "SD Formatter" before flashing(burning) a new image into it, SD Formatter is a free software available for windows and mac.

I’ve been buying silicon power memory exclusively for a few years now, from sata ssd’s to the most modern m.4 pcie ssd’s and I’ve never been disappointed. I’m definitely a big fan of their price to performance ratio, and these micro sd’s have been fantastic. I’m using them in Wyze pan camera’s and they work flawlessly (after formatting to fat32). I get about two weeks of hd footage before it starts to cycle through. Perfect for my application.

I have enjoyed all of the silicon power products that I have purchased so far. They are really great value with awesome performance, usually at really affordable prices. I have an SSD that is in my laptop from them and I've been using it over a year with absolutely no issues. The SD card isn't the fastest around, but it's definitely livable. The speeds are just good enough that other than when you're transferring a lot of data to it, it will get done in about an hour or two depending on how much you're gonna fill it up. Just go grab some lunch and it should be done when you get back :). I use this SD card in my phone. I move apps to it and store photos on it as well as my music from amazon music. It will do what you need it to. My only regret is that I should have bought a larger size card, lol. When formatted it's showing up as 125 GB so it's not bad at all. I haven't had it for very long, only about a month. But I don't see it having any issues in the future, but if any issues occur I will update this review.
