I'm happy to pay a little more and have a professionally made quality product that is complete and ready to go, and this fits the bill. It functions perfectly, really holding in the humidity. It's the perfect size for a nice large crop. The design is perfect and I consider it a very good value since it came with everything, including two bags of substrate which colonized without issues. It even came with a bag of vermiculite to use as a top layer casing. It works best if you place it on a seedling heat mat, not included. This is worth every penny.

Great experience with them, I had an issue, they fixed it immediately. Product is good quality and useful for my mushroom cultivation. Moisture retention is great, easy to use and fits perfectly in my space. Great value. I plan to buy more kits soon! Product worked as expected for the most part but the first bag of grain spawn I used was too dry and so was a waste of spores, I have high hopes for my second attempt but bummed that the provided grain wasn’t packaged properly, the tub is nice tho pretty much what you would expect

I bought one about 3 months ago and just bought a second one. If you are looking for a great monotub then look no farther, this is what they refer to as a dub tub thats fits and locks on to each other. This product works so well i even turned a friend who grew in bags on to this tub. Whats nice is with this they give you enough supplies for 2 different grows.

I've had other tubs before. Homemade...those inflatable ones...but nothing compares to this. The results have so far exceeded my expectations that I'm nearly at a loss for words. I mean, seriously, I put the colonized material in, waited (idk, a couple weeks maybe), and boom....full flush. I then snipped the harvest, and boom....a week later another full flush. Who knows how many more will come. No contamination. I didn't even need to re-spray water in the container, it stayed moist from the initial spraying til first harvest, then I resprayed for the second one, and didn't need to again. Now, I live in a hot and humid climate, and the area in my home where it's kept stays relatively warm (but still a reasonable room temp). So, that's probably a factor. Regarding the substrate bags: there were two. One ended up contaminated. Whose fault is that....whoever made it...the syringe vendor....me....who knows? Whatever. That always happens for any given crop. I would buy this kit over and over again, and probably will.

I cannot recommend these enough; they are the easiest way to cultivate a variety of mushrooms, from gourmet to natural medicine. I recommend buying grain spawn before the soil if you are not familiar with field-condition hydration. The substrate can dry if not used promptly.
