This double-sided mirror has normal reflection on one side, magnified on the flip side. It flips/rotates and extends smoothly. It has 3 modes of brightness. And can also be raised and lowered to accommodate differences in our family’s height it can be mounted in a narrow space. It meets all our needs.

I purchased this for my wife as a Christmas gift. When I got around to attaching it to the bathroom wall, it became rapidly apparent that the mounting system is probably the most laughable thing I've seen in 40 years of installing various things. I will spare the gory hardware (!) details as other reviews have drilled down pretty deeply already. Suffice to say that at the end of the day, the ONLY thing that holds this onto the wall is a silly little plastic cap, with plastic threads inside. This item is heavy, especially with the mirror arm extended. Try to move the mirror arm, and the resulting flex pops the silly caps off. Useless. So, as so many other reviewers have had to do, I've turned what should have been a 15-minute project into something far more arduous, including re-drilling the mounting holes for proper attachment to a wall stud (which, BTW, the instructions DON'T EVEN MENTION!). Yes, the thing looks nice in the box but since it's not yet on the wall, my wife hasn't tried it out so I can't comment on functionality. I waited too long to mount it so the return window is closed. I'm stuck with it and have no choice but to re-engineer another Amazon seller's bad engineering. Unless you have hours of time on your hands and relish the idea of working around the manufacturer's inane mounting system then AVOID THIS THING!

The arm where you move the mirror up and down is not sturdy. It leans down. Doesn’t look that nice on the wall. Looks like you hung it wrong.

Edit: I am adding stars because: 1.. The seller contacted me to discuss my issues. I explained that I feel the mounting system is not great. They said they value feedback (though who knows if they will make a change). They offered to send me a different type of mirror. They did NOT ask me to change the review but I do feel that knowing you can try something and have a great customer service experience makes all the difference. 2. I stand by the original assessment that the mounting system is not great but as I said the mirror itself is pretty nice and large and feels good. Mounting it did not work for me but if you have studs to mount on or use better anchors from the start maybe it will be somewhat ok for you. I do think the company really needs to redesign this because I don’t think it would be hard to make this better. Original: I cannot understand how someone could have thought this system for mounting this mirror would be a good idea. On top of that I tried to use the anchors they sent which was a huge mistake. The whole screw spun, and tho mirror was no flat on the wall. Extremely poor design for something that is meant to be pulled (to adjust the arm). Too bad becaUse the mirror itself looked good and I really liked the concept of the slide and the big size. Gotta go return this thing and patch the giant hole in my wall.

I think that the item was well made. However, I returned it because of it's size - which was too large and out of proportion for my small bathroom.

This mirror is a breeze to install, magically appearing in your space without hogging it up. With its sleek design and effortless height adjustment, its magnifying magic brings every detail up close and personal. I love it!

I love it......

I bought 2 of these mirrors about 6 weeks ago. They've been installed about 1 month. Already one of the mirror fell out like the glue wasn't strong enough. Very frustruated.
