Jakemans Cherry Throat & Chest Lozenges Cough Drops (4 Pack)

These are great for scratchy throats. I need them since it is allergy season.

The Jakemans Cherry Throat & Chest Lozenges Cough Drops are individually wrapped and clear with no added artificial colors which is a huge plus. They are easy to open. They have a light cherry flavor, but more of a strong medicinal flavor similar to other cough drops. The cooling menthol felt nice and I did find it helped with my cough. I feel they last around the same length of time as other brands as well.

The front of the bag if cough drops stated that there were 30 lozenges in each bag. When I opened a bag, there was only 10 lozenges in the bag! This is false advertising! There were 4 bags in the order, I should have received 120 lozenges, not 40 lozenges! Look at the bag in the enclosed picture! At the bottom of the bag, it states 30 lozenges!

I love Jakemans but these tasted nothing like cherry.

I usually prefer lemon and honey flavored cough drops but I didn't want to give these a try. I'm pretty impressed. I was happy to see that they are not red so they're not full of food coloring. The Cherry flavor is also not cloying of so many cherry cough drops are. It's on the subtle side. The menthol is pretty strong in a good way, it even cleared out my nasal passages. One extra thing they tout is that you don't get any sharp edges as this is dissolving, and that is absolutely true. It stayed smooth all the way to the end.

Very disappointed. They are not the same as the ones I purchased from this brand in the UK. They are about 1/3 rd the size and they are NOT smooth nor are they the same shape. And definitely not the “liquid drop” they are purported to be in the description. The only reason for three stars is that they do south the throat and they are not too sweet. Otherwise, if you are looking for the same drop you got I overseas, you’ll need to look elsewhere.

I wanted to have a good cough drop on hand for anyone needing something that would immediately sooth their sore throat, and these work WELL. These are the Cherry flavored ones and they have a nice flavor and not a sickeningly sweet fake cherry taste, like some other brands do. The Menthol is just right, not too powerful. I like that they are clear and haven't been dyed, they are more natural and I like that. They seem to last long enough to help with soothing a sore throat and are individually wrapped and can be thrown into a desk drawer, backpack, purse or anywhere. At the current price of approx. $3.56 for a bag of 30 and I feel that is a good deal for a quality product.

This set of cough drops packs a lot of punch for a small cough drop. The drop acts quickly to coat and sooth, releasing a strong methylated cherry flavor. The flavor lasts and keeps my throat feeling clear for quite a long time after the drop is gone. There are a lot of drops for the money. I also like that the small drops don't melt with sharp edges, keeping the roof of my mouth and tongue from getting sore or rough. I would order these cough drops again.
