Much more substantial and durable than I was expecting, and I’m extremely impressed with the quality! The outside of the crate is canvas and the inside is a thick, tent-like material. Arrives assembled and folded flat, so set up is very simple. I love that it easily folds back down flat for storage when not in use. Works perfectly for my 50-ish lb Goldendoodle when we travel.

Hands down the best crate we've ever used. I love that it's portable by folding up, it has ventilation on top, sides at the top, and the 2 ends that are for opening. Gives great shade. We have a more petite GSP and we call it her bedroom. Tons of room for her. It's very sturdy. I keep a few of her things on top when vacuuming (also easy to do), extra blankets, her bedtime large lambchop, even a laundry basket. It shows no sign of sagging or wear and tear. It is kept in our bedroom. She finds that is her safe space when she needs to get rest. She doesn't mind going in when we need her to vs a wired crate or a 2 piece plastic carrying crate. I highly recommend this brand and crate for home, when traveling and you're staying somewhere, or to simply bring to the beach, camping etc. I don't know how water resistant it is as we use it here at home. We got the largest side for her. It's like a king size in a master bedroom for us.

Bought used item. Shipped & arrived as promised. In great condition. Fairly easy to set up, once I figured it out. Very sturdy once it went up however I could see that if a dog was a chewer or anxious it could be destroyed from the inside because it is made from a canvas/duffel like material but that is why it’s a travel crate. I was specifically looking for a travel crate to take to agility class/competitions as you have to crate your dog in between runs. However, I will be returning this particular crate as it is way too big for my 43 lb. Standard Poodle. I purchased the 42L x 31W x 31H crate and upon setting it up realized it was more suited to my 81 lb. Belgian Malinois Doodle. As far as I’m concerned though, the Amazon Basics travel crate gets 5 stars for quality, ease of use/setting up and it’s very light for it’s size. P.S.: It would need to have a pad put in the bottom of it though as there is absolutely no padding. The bottom of the crate is shiny plastic so any liquids spilled (water, urine, etc.) would be easy to wipe up. UPDATE TO ABOVE REVIEW: So I returned the above crate & ordered one size down (36"L x 24"W x 24"H) thinking that this would be a better fit for the 43lb. Standard Poodle. When this new crate arrived, much to my dismay, she is too tall for it! :( She literally cannot stand up fully in the new crate nor even sit up straight; Otherwise in all the other dimensions it "fits" her. Now I'm kicking myself for returning the bigger crate. Who knew that crate shopping for your dog was as painful as shopping for a swimsuit??? Thank goodness for Amazon and their return policy.

This is the second one I have purchased and I continue to love it! I have a dog that is nervous in the car but she’s too big for car seats. So I thought maybe a kennel would help her feel more secure. It worked so well! The kennel itself is super. It’s easy to collapse and set up. It’s just two steps really - lift up the two metal frames on each side and then pull out and place the bracing arms. It feels very sturdy and it has great little features like a zip open top with a Velcro strap to hold it while open. That’s how my dog rides in it. It also has a little clip for you to lock the zipper into for the front door. The front door has a Velcro strip that lets you roll it up and place it. It didn’t work super well because it’s only on one side so the other side dangles a bit. But it worked well enough. I agree with other reviewers that this is not a product for dogs who will attempt to escape or who will scratch at the kennel. The canvas/vinyl style fabric is great but it won’t stand up to major scratching or biting for too long. I bought the large one for my first trip and it was really big. I had to collapse it in order for it to fit in my car and then I could set it up once inside. It did require putting the back seat down. The medium fit in my back seat without needing to drop the seat or adjust the front seats. It also will only go in collapsed but it sets up well once inside. I also used this in hotels when leaving my dog for a while. No issues. It cleans easily too if you get mud or something in it.

Great travel crate! So much lighter than a wire crate and folds up so small! We actually lay it in the trunk and then a blanket or the dogs bed over it, works great to have them have their own little area! We have a black lab and got the biggest one and it’s much roomier than his crate at home. Could have sized down if needed!

We have a hard sided dog travel crate, but Amazon is great 2 in 1 product. Folds flat to take with you. Opens and set up in seconds. We got the medium one which is not much bigger than our hard sided dog travel crate. However, this one is more like our dogs home crate and she much prefers it to the travel crate. I recommend purchasing the one with the built-in strap. It makes it much easier to carry this case when it's folded up.

Purchased this crate for holidays with our cavoodle puppy as it's almost the same dimensions as her permanent crate at home. We set the inside up the same and she is extremely comfortable to sleep in it all night. This crate is sturdy, easy to set up, has a zip lock (perfect if your pup is like mine and can open zippers) and packs flat so doesn't take up much room in the car. Highly recommended.

Muy buen producto, no se tiene que montar solo estirar los hierros y listo. Cogi la talla más pequeña para llevarlo en los asientos traseros y genial caben mis 3 chihuahuas perfectamente. Solo que lo veo un poco oscuro yo podría más rejilla. Ni un desperfecto ni nada.
