if you are rough on this it won't last long!
this winch stand will work fine although i wouldn't advise heavy throttle if you power on, it's not as heavy duty as my previous one which i eventually broke by hitting it too hard, now i leave my boat 6 inches to a foot away and winch it tight. my only real issue is i think the u-bolts could be longer and heavier duty, when you install the bolts don't even go thru the nuts which are cheap knockoffs of a good stainless nylon insert nut which i'll replace asap. the company i bought this from sent me the wrong item but a phone call and i had the right item in less than a week. great customer service

This will probably outlast the rest of the trailer
This was exactly what I needed for my trailer. It shipped fast, is built well, and installed easily. I cut off the existing roller to install a wider one to aid when landing the boat.

Poor quality and safety concern!
Well I had high hopes. Very disappointing for a product made by a company named "Extreme Max"🤣 At least grind all the weld spatter and the rough/sharp edges before you throw it in a box and send it to a customer. This thing is flemsy. Fit and finish is terrible with jagged and sharp edges. Almost like it was thrown together quickly and welded by a kid. The upper part that slides over the bottom has so much play in it that it just jars back and forth. Even with the bolt tightened all the way. Speaking of the bolt, It just bottoms out and would not tighten. I ended up putting a thick washer between the bolt and upper just so I could tighten it. The galvanized metal is so pitted that theres already rust in the pitting. I have a standard manual winch that I put on it and the holes didnt line up. A new hole will have to be drilled so it will fit. The upper arms bend A LOT with very little pressure. I am afraid that if I have to brake hard while pulling my boat, the arms will just fold. Spend a little more for a more solid product. I attached a pic and if you look at it, almost everything I described is in one small pic. Pitting with rust, jagged and sharp edges, weld spatter, added washer to make the bolt work and so on.

Las cuerdas de las abrazaderas están de mala calidad y el material que soporta el rodillo están muy delgado

Pretty good. I like the way it places the roller up higher and the winch lower, to the trailer frame. The biggest drawback is the play in the two pieces. Way too much movement for my liking, but it’s held up so far. You may want to shim the connection to take the play out. Adjustability is really nice though. The original roller and pin was garbage. With some movement of the boat due to looseness in the strap around the drum, it bounced up and down on the roller somewhat. That popped the pin and roller out and eventually bent the frame at that connection. Had to put it in a vice and bend it back. Then I used the bolt and old roller I had from the old winch post, which was loads sturdier. So… you may want to just replace the roller and pin with a sturdier bolt (and roller).
