Box incomplete and pencil damaged but rest of pencils were lovely.
Unfortunately pencil box incomplete. 2 pencils same colour - 2 number125s ( mid purple pink). Consequently no number 120 ( ultramarine). Number 151 (helio-blue reddish) had its paint scraped off. Such a shame as they are lovely pencils and colours. Looked like it might of been a factory reject. Sent for 2 separate colours to make up for this from another source.

Faber-Castell est certainement pour moi la meilleure marque de crayons hauts de gammes, ici il s'agit d'une boîte de 48 crayons aquarelables, boîte métallique. Mines semi-grasses, très beau nuancier de couleurs même si j'aurais aimé en avoir plus mais les mélanges se font bien et l'on peut obtenir d'autres teintes, un bémol sur la couleur or et argent où l'on voit mal le côté irisé mais sinon tout est parfait. Vraiment pratique quand on ne souhaite pas sortir les pinceaux et la peinture, le résultat est très bon. Envoi rapide, bien emballés, se tailles bien, pas de doublons, pas de casse. À voir avec le temps si les mines ne sont pas cassées lors de la mise en boîte mais chez faber castell je n'ai jamais eu ce problème. Aussi bons que les polychromos. Je suis très contente de mon achat et je recommande vivement.

Love this brand and this watercolour range. Colours are bright and react to water to enable a novice to experience a watercolour project in a way that only an adept painter could achieve. It liberates one from feeling inadequate in trying a medium otherwise avoided. I was attracted to the size, ie number of pencils in this set, price and range of colours included. It is also a little better than the basic range, less grainy, ie disolves better when water applied and pigment goes a long way. Given it is a watercolour any application as a solid colour filler is risking bleeding into another colour, the intensity of colour and the grade of paper being used. Not for, in my opinion, the run of the mill colouring-in-books.
