Minimum assembly of hand rails, very easy. Very sturdy and stable. Love the tool tray. Tool bag pretty much useless in my opinion. It covers the tool tray and will accommodate only smallest tools. Do love the strength and stability. Well worth the price and I would gladly buy again.

What a great purchase! I didn't know it was possible to love a ladder, and yet, here I am ecstatic about it. First of all its pretty easy to move where i need it. Its not super heavy like another ladder i own. I never use it because it weighs too much. Changing smoke alarm batteries and light bulbs are so easy for me now. And I feel secure as this is a sturdy ladder with hand rails and good sized steps. I don't feel like I'm teetering at all. It folds up nicely so I can store it away in the front hall closet.

OMGoodness, this was the best buy ever. Being by myself, I am vertically challenged, and 70+ yrs, so I hear "don't get on a ladder" all the time. Well, this baby, stopped that right quick. This is great for cleaning ceiling fans, changing light bulbs, and reaching that cabinet over the fridge. This ladder is very well made, with wide steps and also has hand rails along both sides for extra grip support. It is very easy to set up, just pull it apart...lol. Doesn't weigh very much, but is a bit awkward to carry around if you are 5ft 1in, Mine has 4 steps and a platform and it is perfect. I will be getting another one for my basement area .

Recommended for seniors. I’m 5’8” living in an older house with 9’ ceilings. I’m 84yo with balance problems. I found this ladder to be the right size. The top and hand rails strengthen and stabilize the ladder for a sturdiet feel to the ladder.

Pretty good ladder for basic home issues, like replacing ceiling lights and putting up curtain rods. Easy to put together, but easy to fall or tip if you're not careful. Took a big fall once, but now that I know to be careful it works fine for my needs. Good deal for the money, convenient and easy to store when you collapse it. Sturdy, but be careful, it can tip over sideways it you don't be careful, but I think that is the case with all ladders. The shelf to place your tools easy a very cool addition. I have a low ceiling and I'm tall, so I only need to use first 2 steps on the ladder. I recommend this item for basic home indoor use. Also, very light weight and will probably last a long time.

Be sure to read the directions about not tightening top area bolts until all are in! Nice sturdy ladder and I love the hanging bag for tools or parts. I only feel safe standing on the 2nd step due to balance issues from foot neuropathy, but i can change smoke-detector batteries, etc.. Folds up easily to carry. Good value due to steel construction. Nice that there are options for number of steps.

The actual ladder is getting the 5 stars, but if I was handing out stars for the ease of assembly it would get a 2. I’m 73 and female, but I managed to get it together but it was a struggle. A word of caution to anyone buying this ladder: Position all screws/washers & nuts loosely and DO NOT TIGHTEN until everything is basically in place, because you will absolutely have to wrench the attachments around, shift things here and there, in order to get all the screws in the right positions to align through the predrilled holes. Then you can tighten everything. I love that the ladder had both a platform and a tool bag, the handrails are wonderful and there is a high bar on top for even more stability if you’re someone like me who hates heights. Nice wide steps & not too heavy to move around.

Easy to assembly, light weight and very sturdy. We are older (late 70s) and needed a step ladder with hand rails to be safer when changing light bulbs and other higher jobs. This ladder works great for our needs and is light enough to move easily.
