We've had our house rewired so you can imagine how must dust from chasing out walls and cutting in back boxes this has created. This tape and drape has been brilliant. For taller wardrobes you will need to run an extra section across the bottom as you can see in my photos. Our daughters wardrobe was 2m tall so we had just enough drop for her's. It is quite thin so be careful with it, but that being said I've not had much of it rip. I tacked it down at the edges with some extra masking tape just to hold the sides in place. The built-in tape strip at the top is really good, its not mega sticky so you can reposition it if needed and it doesn't leave an tacky mess behind, but it still holds really well. It did remove some very old wallpaper in our room as my wife stuck it directly to the wall and not woodwork. Be aware if you do need to peel it off and reposition it, the cling effect of it means it will likely stick itself to the built in tape strip, but you can peel if back off, just be gentle with it and it won't rip. The cling film effect of it has an added benefit that it does pull any dust out of the air. I found patches of brick dust stuck to the surface which you can see in some of my pictures and the video. I'd definitely buy this again, cheap enough and does the job well. Obviously if you need heavy duty, look elsewhere, but it's great for the money in my opinion.

I bought this product to protect my car's bodywork, when using a cordless hand-held rotary power unit, with a kit of sponge discs & Turtle Wax Headlamp Restorer. This plastic sheeting, while it's quite thin, it does do an excellent job of protecting a surface, from most cleaning fluids, paint & the like - however, as it's not specialist/ heavy-duty stuff, some substances would perish it - if you are concerned, that you may be using a substance that might perish it, rendering it absolute useless for the task, I'd do a patch-test on it with that substance, before using it for that particular task. I've found, generally, if it says you are to use gloves when using the substance, you're likely to need something more resistant/ robust, especially if the task is time-consuming, meaning the surface would need protecting for a prolonged period & the substance would then have more time to perish it. The attached tape, is easy to peel off the roll & work with/ position, with good adhesion - obviously, you must be sure, to clean any grease/ dirt/ dust from & thoroughly dry, the surface you attach it to. Upon removal, the tape had left no tacky or dirty residue. It was easy to guide the tape along the edge of my headlamps - I'd worried I'd need to cut sections to accomodate the irregular shape, but, with careful handling, it was done in one piece, along each of the side & lower parts. Lifting the bonnet, giving the inside of it a bit of a clean where I needed to attach the tape, again using one piece on each side, I then shut the bonnet & drew the plastic sheeting up across the top of the bonnet, securing it with a bit of masking tape. Everything was tickety-boo, no snafus - so much more convenient, than buying the plastic sheeting & the tape separately - this product made everything easier, so the task could be completed efficiently. For that convenience alone, this product is worth every penny. My 24-yr-old chariot sailed through its M.O.T. needing nothing more than a new bulb, for one of the beautifully-restored, crystal-clear headlamps. You could have knocked me down with a feather - it usually needs 100s-GBP-worth of welding! The advisory on the cloudy headlamps the last two times, will never happen again, now that I have this system to solve the problem. What I like best about this product, is that you can cut it as short/ narrow, or, as long/ wide as you need it to be - it's not in sections of pre-determined lengths on the roll. Although I won't need to buy this again for another few years, as there is plenty of it, for all-sorts of other protective tasks - buy it again, I definitely would. Great product. Tape sticks well to walls and skirting. Peels off easily once done with without pulling off any paint. Cuts easily (or could be torn of needed). Great value for money. Only reason it gets 4 stars was I ordered 90cm but 65cm turned up. Wasn’t a issue as more than enough coverage for what I needed.

I recently used this LLPT Tape and Drape masking film while renovating my house, and it saved me so much time and effort! The pre-taped edge makes it incredibly easy to set up - just unroll, stick it where you need protection, and you’re good to go. I used it to cover walls and furniture while painting, and it provided excellent coverage without slipping or peeling off. The plastic film unfolds to a generous size, perfect for covering large areas like my living room walls, floors and even some furniture. It stayed securely in place, even when I was using a paint sprayer, and there was no leakage through the material. Clean-up was a breeze too—just peel it off and toss it. If you're tackling a renovation project, this is a must-have for keeping everything protected. I highly recommend it!

This did the job perfectly for us. We were painting the kitchen ceiling and wanted to stop splatter on the worktops. Easy to fit, and easy to take down - it is a nice length and although feels a bit flimsy it’s actually more than strong enough and never once tore

I bought these to help keep the dust off pictures, light fittings and the contents of cupboards while extensive work was being done in our back garden (with all materials having to travel through from the front of the house and back out again, for three weeks). They very easy to apply and are large enough to cover eg 1m wide dressers (combine two strips for wider items). We stuck them to the ceilings to cover our chandeliers, on walls to cover pictures in situ, and kitchen dressers and glass cabinets. I did seal the sides with masking tape for some of the cupboards and bookcases. The only downside is that, when stuck to walls and ceilings painted with matt emulsion, some of the paint lifted off. It was fine on satin/gloss wood paint and other surfaces. Not a problem as we were going to redecorate anyway, but perhaps test in a less visible area and remove after a couple of days to see what happens, before covering everything.
