Stronger than expected. The pull strength is directly proportional to input voltage. But, it does have a small spring, so the push/return is relatively weak. While the spring is adequate, even a small resistance can prevent it from fully returning; however, the spring looks easy to replace with a stronger one, if necessary.

Very nice solenoid here. Very consistent and pretty strong with proper voltage used. I'm using this for a manually activated garage door opener switch... which is triggered by a separate wireless activator. This little guy saved the whole project. Essentially I extended the life of my garage door opener by making my own wireless system, since my original one failed.

It works, but is weak as others have reported. Understandably, the forced of a solenoid is not linear over its entire stroke. The pull force is very weak at the beginning to stroke, and the stated force is likely applicable to just last few millimeters. One irritating design flaw is the location of the screw holes on the housing, which is located facing the center of the solenoid coil. If the mounting screws are too long, they will gouge into the solenoid coil.

This unit pulls about an amp at 12v , around 13ohms,. I tried current limiting resistors but then it wouldn't operate at all, to try to get to 300ma. Ripped off again I guess

At 12VDC these solenoids are drawing between 1.596 and 1.618 A, so no, they do not draw 950 mA (0.95 A). There is a label on the solenoid that reads "12V 1.7A" which seems accurate. The Amazon description is not, so be careful if you're using a 1A power supply (mine works but it folds). Otherwise, the draw pin is captive so you can use it for actually pushing or pulling by orienting it correctly, which is good. Force is reasonable for pushing a membrane button, too.

It’s labeled at 1.5n of force but it can barely move itself let alone any other weight. Useless and not worth $.10

Worked fine but unfortunately was not powerful enough for it's intended use. No complaints about the quality. Came with threaded holes and mounting screws...shaft is also threaded with a rubber O ring and cap nut. As others have reported, the screws will bottom out so add small washers and test before tightening.

Works as expected

Used for DIY pinball machine nice solenoid, works as advertised but the return spring is too weak and the solenoid will not return to rest position if there is any kind of mechanical resistance. I hacked my way around this issue by removing the circlip and extending the springs to give them more return force. Some binding of the shaft in the core but when rotated I was able to find a loose enough spot for my application

Les vises de fixation sont trop longues....resultat au montage les vises perce la bobine et il arrête de fonctionner J'en ai commandé un deuxième il a brûlé au bout de quelques heures de marches l'intérieur a fondus pas sûr qu'il est vraiment conçu pour du 12V dc.
