Attractive Flat Bottom
These are hard to find because most have rounded bottoms. The advantage of flat-bottomed beakers, besides being more stable, is the linear accuracy of the marked graduations in the first 50 ml of the 250 ml beaker.Testing these with 50 ml of water from a laboratory graduate cylinder shows the beaker marking to be exactly correct. They seem lightweight but, at 104 gm, there is no real difference from the rounded version. In some labs, the rounded-bottom is preferred for more uniform mixing and thorough cleaning. They may be more durable as well, but these flat-bottom beakers are good quality, especially for the comparative low price. Thickness isn't an issue given ordinary care for labware.Shipping was very prompt, but packing could have been better: they were not well protected for shipping. I was not disappointed to find just one of the dozen beakers broken in shipment. I have come to expect worse than that in having labware shipped through USPS Parcel Select. I am very happy with the purchase and the seller; did not count the ( expected) breakage against the transaction. There are special features of this product compared to similar 250 ml beakers which, especially at the price, make them a good value for the money. Not that anyone would use them for coffee, but the diameter is exactly right for the ( bought on Amazom) french-press' plunger / screen that I use for just one cup. :-)

Low quality and flawed glass
These beakers have burns and flaws on them as of it has been used and flaws in glass that are sharp and bubbling up. Not safe and certainly not good quality.

Garbage.
This company has Consistently delivered flawed glass. Does not sit flat, imperfections and ripples in glass, inconsistent thickness. Whatever you buy from them you will have to rebuy VERY soon.
